Character Lists?

Basically where you can create a topic listing your characters, with some basic info (name, gender, race, rank, position, etc), and a link to their application. This makes it easier for people to find out who plays who. I've seen it on several other sites and found it interesting. Do you guys think it would be a good thing to implement here? Of course, it wouldn't be mandatory. If you for some reason didn't want to make one, then cool. It would probably go under the "character extras" forum if we did start it.

I think it could be a good thing to have, since not everyone links to their characters in their sigs. That way there's an easy way to see who plays who and find a quick link to the character one wants to look at without having to click through a few different forums, particularly if said character doesn't belong to a faction

Rather than go into the Applications forum and trying to find their app {like I have been doing since I got approved..}

Well, the character list forum is up under character extras. Already made my list as an example of sorts.

Mine are in my sig.

Gather all characters in a topic, then just link that topic in your signature XD Takes up less room and leaves more room for pictures and stuff .-.

I saw it before seeing this thread and was like.."What? o.o" But it's a pretty cool idea.

Wasting an entire topic on characters is pretty much a waste of time and an addition of work. We can accomplish just as much by listing them in the siggy and In the Rankings.

Not every character belongs to a faction, though, and not everyone (read: not all that many people from what I've seen) put them in their sigs, as I'd mentioned earlier. It's really barely any trouble, and provides an easy reference what person has what characters more than just what slots are taken up in the current factions and having to click to find out who owns that character, or having to wander through the approved apps to find someone's character who isn't linked elsewhere.

Yeah, EReal, as part of staff, you need to make one, as I have told you before. Please have it done soon.

I'm not going to just cancel this because one person disagrees. And really, you just make it sound like you don't agree because you're lazy. >_>
