In-character C-box

Would you use it if I got one? Just want to make sure I don't waste my money.

No. I won't becausei can ic chat right over thre on the right. Ic chatboxes just make anoher thing to monitor for godmod and discourage threads. U wanna ic chat witha person make a thread.

A better idea wuld beraising thread limits to 2 wih special permissions. Have a mod take on the job of okaying any second threads before they are made.


Ic chatboxes are what kill threadcounts. Heil Threads, down with chatboxes.

We have a sideplot area. Make that an area for 2nd threads outside theone thread rule. Evn better then my firs idea.

And I don't see the purpose of an IC chat o.o Hash if you want something similar than I can make that lounge thing like we had on BEO again o.o

Fen and Kizo have a point. Plus, i don`t even know if the Ic cbox will work on my phone. The lounge thing, or second thread in side plot area would be better. It won`t waste your money at least.

The thing is, Fen, is that you're not supposed to IC in the chatbox. It's annoying to other members who just want to talk. Godmoding also wouldn't be an issue, because you don't fight in the IC chatbox, unless it's like some comic relief thing, and if you get butthurt about losing comic relief fights, you just shouldn't use it. From what I've seen, it's just a place where you do the same thing you do in the normal chatbox, but as your character. It's just something to do to pass the time, not actual RP, so I don't see how it would discourage threads. I think wherever you experienced this, they did it wrong. O.o

The lounge failed too hard, Kizo. xD People still posted like paragraphs, not understanding what max 3 lines or whatever meant. o-o Plus, a box would be better because you don't have to keep checking threads. You just sit there and wait, if you have no real posts to do.

Az, it would work on your phone. It would be the same type of chatbox that we have on the sidebar, just bigger and I'd probably have it where the homepage message used to be.

it's a box where say my arrancar, ur shini, setsubou's quincy, and Az's bount can sit and have coffee and chat for no real reason other then to not be in a thread doing the same thing. And to be honest the thread where we all do it sounds a helluva lot more fun.

I'm still not seeing a reason. We have the cbox, we have threads. ones for idle chatter and one is for rp-ing.

But alright, I'm down for this, I suppose. We had something like that at a few other places I helped admin at, but there was an actual thread for all of that. Pure comic relief, but still fun.
