Not so pleasant distractions (Drake/Luke, Invite) (Closed)

What was he supposed to do, really? Everything seemed to be changing around him, and beyond having someone he now wanted to protect, the Arrancar didn't know what to do with all of it. So, while Sora and Shinku were busy doing whatever they were doing and with him neither wanting to spend too much time stifled up inside nor go too far away from there, Drake opted instead to wait and relax outside, mulling over his thoughts. 'Twas something that he didn't do often... or, perhaps, ever, but now at least, there were things to think about.

Grumbling slightly at the third time everything had gotten caught up in a jumbled mess in his head, he shook it furiously from side to side, aiming futilely to remove some of it. Failing that, he needed some sort of distraction from all the thoughts. Perhaps just a minor excursion, staying within a range where he could easily sense the presences of Sora and Shinku and swiftly return if deemed necessary. And the best way to get his mind off things? Eating, of course.

With a target readily found as one of the weaker hollows in the area, the draconian Arrancar flew off quickly in that direction. He came down just as quickly in a gaping maw of sharp teeth that promptly clamped down on the poor creature's head... and with that quick kill, the minor feast began, only for those red eyes to turn quickly to another presence he'd caught nearby. A stronger one... potentially risky, but it could certainly serve as a good distraction to everything...

Luke watched the exchange between the two, though he didn't hear a thing. He seemed to lose his height, as his clothes turned back to normal. As soon as he could see well enough, he grabbed his torn hat, before putting it atop his head. He walked a bit away, before pressing his fingers to the air, opening a Garganta with a tearing sound. "Whenever you are ready, ma'am." He said, as he tipped the hat up with his fingers, waiting for Czaiohme. When she walked in, he would follow after, not sparing a glance at the form of Drake.

Czaiohme turned her eyes down to Drake as her looks darkened. His first words didn't sit well with her. "Demons... Are we?" She took a couple steps to him, stopping in front of him. "We kill what is needed for the absolution of all races. We are Mistress Zelena's weapons, to be at her beck and call whenever needed. What she says must die... Will die..." Her tone within his head darkened, as if she was getting irritated.

Suddenly, she drops the the ground, using her legs to spin herself around on her shoulders in a break-dance form. Her leg, once enough momentum was gained, would slam into his chest and knock him back. She would stop on her shoulders rather quickly and swing her legs forward, getting back up into a standing position athletically. Luke would be able to hear her next words as well, it being a universal wave of thought."You will learn what it means to cross Mistress Zelena and her weapons... Pray you do not have me as a performance partner the next time you see one of us..." With that said, she shakes her head, rattling the chains binding her arms and walked through the Garganta. Sparing Luke a glance, she would speak to his mind. "You were too kind... But in control... You were a good choice..." Then in she walked, back to her Mistress.

So that was what they really were, then, Drake noted from the woman's words... puppets, directed hunters of things completely different than his own prey; them. No... with that, he could most definitely never consider him among their numbers, whatever he looked like.

"Tch... we'll see who the prey is soon enough, I think," the rogue growled, resting a claw lightly over where he'd been kicked for a moment before continuing his passage. They were already gone, so he was certain it would be perfectly safe to head back in the direction of Sora's home, but it was still... worrying. He wasn't certain what they were really after, since it was probably something given their activity of late... and he wasn't strong enough.

He'd have to rectify that, and soon. For now... he badly needed to recover, and could only rely on his remaining strength to have his wings carry him back where, and to whom, he needed to be.
