The Downhill Battle | Ichigo and Rin Vs. Leto and Kurocho | Rapid-fire

Participants: Mugetsu (Ichigo & Leto), Rin~chan (Rin & Kurocho)

Setting: Ruins of an old Romanesque arena, located in Hell. The sky above is a distorted mix of black and red, while debris litters the ground below.

Side note: There may be some godmodding or ridiculous stuff happening in this fight, but this is just a dicking-around thread so it doesn't matter. >.>*cought-rexcough*

Having no interest in fighting yet, a sin sat in the stands boredly watching as the blond haired girl stepped out from one of the entrances to the arena ground. “This shall be interesting.” The black haired girl said as they drifted to the other side where she could tell two shingamis were standing. The Kurocho was basically letting Leto fight them for the time being as she plotted out an attack strategy to take Rin and Ichigo down in one single stroke. Wearing a small grin as she petted a small wolf pup that sat down on her lap as her violet eyes went back to Leto for a moment then down to the pup. “ It will be our turn soon. We will just let Leto have some fun first.” There was a small chuckle from the girl as she saw the Leto was quick to make the first move.


Standing beside Ichigo was a female not much shorter than him, with waist length black hair and piercing red eyes. In her hand was a black eye patch she had token off early, so she could be at full fighting force, knowing what laid beyond the entrance. Next to Ichigo she looked like a normal girl wearing shot black shorts that went to just above her mid-thigh with a black red belt hang loosely on her left side, letting the rest of her long slender legs be covered up by black tights and black half inch boots that went to just under her knee. Her above average chest was covered by a red tank top that showed off half her stomach but that couldn't be seen much as she wore a long black jacket that was only done up in the middle by a small button. A large zanpakuto was sitting on her pack holstered by and orange belt that went across her right shoulder and down to her left hip. From the front all could be seen was a bit of the hilt but even that was covered up by the long strands of black hair.

Her eyes quickly narrowed in front of her as her nose twitched a little, she could smell flames coming towards them. Without thinking or consulting Ichigo, she turned to face him with a blank expression. Moving her hands out towards him she attempted to push him back away from the area they were standing. It looked like it was going to be a light push but it actually had enough force to send him back a few meters. With that done she jumped back away from the ground and remained standing in the area above the ground.

Substitute Shinigami

Just as Ichigo had been looking around, wondering what strange place they had stumbled upon now, he suddenly got a feeling that something was not right. He felt a sudden burst of energy; not reiatsu, but something else. Something much darker. He knew something big was coming, but he could not place what it was. Then he caught sight of the silhouette of a person in the entrance, which he was currently facing. He thought to react, but before he could do anything, he felt himself get pushed to the side. "Wha--" Was all that he got the chance to stammer as he was fell back a few feet, already knowing who had pushed him.

As the stream of transparent flame hit the ground where he and Rin had previously been standing, Ichigo fell off to the side, a few metres away. "You didn't need to do that!" He yelled to Rin, quickly getting to his feet with an irritated expression. He understood that she had wanted to help him, but he could have dodged the attack on his own, he thought.

Now he looked over to the person who was still standing near the entrance of the Romanesque structure. It was obvious that they were the one who had attacked them. Quickly, he reached for the hilt of Zangetsu, not drawing it yet as he stared down their assailant. "Just who the hell are you? Show yourself!" He demanded fiercely.

Leto Pheonix
Sin of Pride

After seeing her attack miss, Leto stepped out of the shadows, and into the sunlight. She had expected as much. These two shinigami were of a high enough level that she would not be able to bring them down with a single attack. But they were intruders, so she would kill both of them, one way or the other. The Sin preferred not to suffer fools gladly.

Leto could feel the presence of another Sin nearby. Gluttony. She thought, not caring that the other Sin was not bothering to help her out. She did not need help.

Leto kept walking, right towards the two shinigami. Her expression was cold, and her eyes glittered with the intent to kill. It was clear that the Sin was not in the mood to mess around. Once she was within a twenty-foot radius of both Ichigo and Rin, she stopped, and glared at them with a languid, orange gaze. "What a stupid question. Does it really matter who I am? You intruded upon my domain. Beings like you are not meant to exist in this plane. So, I am going to remove you." Leto stated plainly. Although she had not released her name yet, she did plan on it later on. She was prideful, if nothing else. Those who were killed, should know the name of their murderer, after all.

Now the Sin raised her hand, and a murky darkness was released, forming into what appeared to be a large bladed weapon of sorts. While the weapon was still manifesting itself, Leto spoke. "Now, fight for your lives, or die like cowards."
