| There are a select few ways to make your character stronger: fighting, special events, buying stat points with SC, and training threads. No, your character cannot earn stat points through casual role-play. This should be a given, since talking to someone or just plain old dicking around does not make you any stronger. A training thread is a good way to earn stat points if you’re willing to put the effort in, or have a lot of time on your hands. You can have any sort of scenario going down, as long as it is reasonable. Also, make sure to include [Training Thread], or something similar, in the title of the topic. The amount of stat points one can earn through a training thread depend on the rank of the character, and how well you did. If you want it graded, you will need to state somewhere (preferably in the submissions forum) that you are finished. Here are the rules for training threads: - As your character cannot be in more than one place at a time, you cannot do a training thread while your character is in another role-play. If you disregard this rule and do it anyways, you will be wasting your time, because you will not receive any points.
- Low to Moderate ranked characters must have a minimum of 500 words per post. If even one post in the topic is below this requirement, the entire topic will be disregarded. Similarly, Adept to Advanced rank characters must have a minimum of 750 words per post, and Master rank characters must have a minimum of 1000 words per post.
- Each training thread must have at least 5 posts. Again, any training thread below this requirement will be disregarded.
- You can only use ONE character per training thread. Using multiple characters to increase your word count will not work. You can however, have group training threads, as long as each character is controlled by a different member.
- You can only have one training thread going at a time. If you do not wish to finish a training thread for a certain character, but want to start one for another, you will have to state in your previous training thread that you have discontinued it. DO NOT DELETE IT. Once discontinued, a training thread can never be posted in again. To make sure of this, any discontinued training threads will be locked by staff.
Once finished, a training thread will be evaluated by the admins. Based on the outcome and your character’s current rank, you may receive a set amount of stat points. MAKE SURE YOU WORD COUNT YOUR POSTS. AT LEAST 750 MEANS AT LEAST 750, NOT 740, NOT 734, NOT 600. IF YOU FEEL THAT YOU CANNOT MAKE THE WORD COUNT, DO NOT ENGAGE IN A TRAINING THREAD. OTHERWISE, DON'T GET BUTTHURT WHEN YOUR THREAD IS DISAPPROVED. | |
