Ika [Closed]

Ika sat atop one stretching out after camping there just to be an asshole,he had lost interest in the short supply of Hollows in the area as the last one just then had attempted to sneak up behind Ika as Ika grinned already having felt it from a pretty good distance away and had Hadō 4 ready as it went to attack him and shot it in the forehead as it went to attack.It faded into dust and was blown away into the wind,he had buried Ashley here,his best friend,and his opinion,the most beautiful person who had ever lived,that was why he was really here,to pay a debt to the only person he truly loved,the debt simple,to visit her grave every year twice a year,the day she was born,and the day she died,today was one of the latter.He recalled the image of her dead body and thought it was not one he liked to relive after it haunting his nightmares every night since,it was a strange thing,her youthful flesh color drained much like the blood from her very veins but in some sick creepy way,it only seemed to enhance her beauty,like a lily on a grave,the idea of beauty to Ika was different,she was happy somehow in death,this much he was convinced.And the only way her beauty could have been enhanced was happiness in his mind but he decided it was time to pack up and move on,he dropped a lily on her grave and continued to tread down the mountain where the Hollows had came from,their had to be something going on,and no way was Ashley's grave being fucked with.He'd die before he lived to see the day it was even so much as harmed or even provoked,he'd take that bastard with him,that much was for sure.

He headed down the mountain slowly as he stopped for a second by a nearby rock that was positioned good enough to sit on and sat down for a second,he admired the beautiful sunrise as the sun came over the horizon past the mountains,a perfect view,he watched as he rolled a blunt and put the Blunt to his mouth inhaling through his mouth and holding it in for a short amount of time before exhaling out of his nose.This was damn near a ritual that he always did and by now it was a subconscious ritual he didn't even really notice,he saw a few figures at the bottom of the mountain and sighed,shit,he grabbed his stuff and headed on down haphazardly oblivious to all dangers about as he watched the sunrise the sun illuminating his features as it struck him and for some of the time he held his arm out to block it from his eyes.He got down the mountain and had an ominous feeling as he looked around though,nothing really stuck out to him as an indicator to get the hell out of there so he stayed though on his toes for whatever was about to appear. He continued to smoke a bit and his eyes began to become bloodshot,he was up the whole night and was now smoking 3 dimes in one blunt,more than enough to make him high,he finished it and dropped 3 eye drops in each eye so they were clearer than what they were while he was smoking and he sighed as he threw what was left of the blunt away and pocketed the eye-drops as he got up and cracked his neck and knuckles,why was life so boring sometimes he thought to himself as he began to get the ominous feeling back,he shook it off as a feeling he got from the weed,he knew better though and continued to keep on his toes.He sighed and continued walking away from the area,nothing there was worth staying for if he felt bad while being there so he continued to head away from the area,it was a beautiful sight but he'd seen enough beauty,it was a shame the area would become a battlefield.

Ika became pissed at everything he thought about and stomped the ground a bit harder then he had meant to cracking the pavement beneath him and sending more than a few birds scurrying away from the scene though,thankfully,his brand new Ed Hardy Converses were still well intact as he looked at them to make sure,he had realized that he had forgotten his socks at home and sighed,so much for comfort,he thought sarcastically with a slight grin on his face,the early morning light illuminating his pale skin that was as white as moonlight and the grin revealed just a bit of his bright pearly white teeth,he had never really had to focus on them they just kinda remained white,it was weird really,his pale blue eyes held an icy empty gaze on the never ending horizon and looked as if they were carved from crystal and ice.The look was chilling,though he would meet someone who could possibly hold some merit for a fight with him.He shook his head a bit to get the sweat off and to make his hair go down in the damn near windless area,his hair was a snow white with black all around on the tips and came down almost to his eyes and the hair completely concealed his eyebrows and forehead.His Snakebite lip piercing shined a bit as the sun hit it as the silver held a pretty nice sheen to it and as he continued to walk the sun began to bear down on him further though it was not god awful,it was about 75 degrees out with 30% humidity at best and though in the weather forecast they claimed it would rain soon,Ika had a hard time seeing that happening,their was hardly a cloud in the sky and the ones that were were white and fluffy looking,nice clouds.Ika wore a black and white patterned belt and it tightened his already skin tight dark black Skinny Jeans as he held his hands in his pockets while he walked somewhat slumped over,his Zanpokuto Sheathe lay in his right pocket and brushed against his bare exposed skin since he decided to go shirtless and it revealed his well toned body and 6 pack.Ika was not tank muscular but he was of fairly muscular build and was about 6'2 and 160 pounds.He grinned as he stepped off the area and shot the Hollow that was causing all this trouble in the eye with a Hadō 4 then quickly Shunpo'd above it to crack its skull with a punch and as he watched it fade into the dusty air and an untimely adventure to nothingness,he felt a new presence show up that was more like that of a powerful foe "The fuck..."

How the hell did I get here?

This bewildered and baffled thought belonged to a person who was now walking up a mountain. He had spiky black air, which immediately made him look out of place in a predominantly Arian country. His eyes were dark blue, and his clothing consisted of black jeans and a white coat, which covered a black shirt underneath. Stopping for a moment, Gray looked around; something felt off. He could actually sense the reiatsu of a hollow not too far away. That was just great. First off, he only knew that he was in Norway. How he got there? No idea. He had decided to climb this mountain so that he could find a town or city nearby from the higher vantage point he was bound to reach. Now, as tired and confused as he was, he may have to fight hollows? ”You have got to be kidding me…” He thought, shaking his head and continuing to walk again.

Soon after, Gray noticed the presence of the hollows from earlier disappear, as if they had been killed. He narrowed his eyes, wondering who had done it. Now with the other reiatsu levels gone, he could sense another. This one was stronger. At first, he had assumed that it was a shinigami doing their job, but the reiatsu felt different than that of any shinigami he had ever encountered. It was darker, and more twisted. Now that he thought of it, it seemed closer to the reiatsu of a hollow than a shinigami. A visored. this was Gray’s assumption. He had never encountered one before, but it looked like he was about to, since the source of this strange reiatsu was coming his way.

Gray had not been mistaken. Almost as soon as he turned a bend in the path, he saw the form of a hollow crumble into nothingness, defeated. Nearby, stood the source of the twisted, hollow-like reiatsu. The other male did not look to happy, from Gray’s perspective, but that was not his concern. He stopped after catching sight of the visored, wondering whether he should say something, or just keep walking past him. It wasn’t like he knew him, but then again, he had no idea how to get back to Kagamino, and it wasn’t everyday that Gray encountered a visored on a random mountain in Norway.

Slowly... All too slowly... Eva was not made for odd environments. She was beginning to wonder why the hell she was still following this man. Then she remembered. She had wanted to gain intelligence for Vlasta. Of course, she'd done so without orders. Her natural curiosity had gotten the better of her, mostly. It all came down to that, no matter how she rationalized it. So still, she followed the Fullbringer, unsure of where he would stop. She occasionally had to transition forms to climb the more sheer areas, and mentally, she was rather surprised he was able to do such a task.

Now that he was on somewhat level ground, she returned to her normal form. Unlike how people could make assumptions about where Gray was from, anyone that looked at Eva would have no clue what to think. With her bright green hair, bifurcated cape mimicking cockroach wings, and bouncy, chitinous antennae, she looked like an adorable monster. By now, as Eva was much more used to warmer temperatures, she had her cape tightly wrapped around her body. She definitely did not belong on the mountain, and wondered why he seemed so right at home in such a frigid place.

She froze in her tracks when Gray stopped to examine the Visored. She'd never seen one of them, either. Potentially, she could walk away with a wealth of information on two species. This was, granted, all based on the fact that maybe Vlasta had never seen either species before. However, even if she had, Eva had not. It would do her some good to study them both. And so, hiding behind a tree as several caterpillars gather around her, she watched the pair, but primarily Gray. After all, he was her initial target, and she was curious to what exactly a Fullbring was. Good thing she was excellent at keeping her reiatsu suppressed. It just wouldn't do to immediately be found out. She even began kneeling behind the tree, only her left eye and a streak of green hair was visible of the mute Togabito.

Gray Fullbuster

After a few moments of Gray standing there and waiting for Ika to say something, he scowled. The visored was just standing there, doing nothing. “Okay then…” He said in an annoyed tone, turning away from the other male, deciding that it was a waste of time to bother with him. He had been about to continue walking when he noticed something odd out of the corner of his eye; something was moving. Quickly, he turned his head to see, and nearly jumped when he saw a large amount of caterpillars gathering at the base of a nearby tree. “What the…” He said, not bothering to finish his sentence. He had never seen so many caterpillars gathering in one place before.

Upon closer inspection, Gray could also see a streak of something that was bright green, and what looked to be someone’s eye staring right at him from behind the tree. Although that part was a little creepy, Gray appeared unfazed. “Hey, I can see you, ya know. Come out.” Gray demanded, although he did not sound all that angry, more curious as to why he was being stalked than anything else.

Eva continues watching the Fullbringer study the Visored, seemingly able to gain more from appearances than Eva was. Her antennae twitched gently as they were aiding her hearing as well as sight. That, or maybe she was just cold. She would make a mental note never to come back to... Wherever the hell she was. She leaned just an inch further out to get a better look at Gray, trying to discern some type of visual powers. However, it was difficult to tell anything with Gray's back turned to her.

Eva smiled softly as he turned around. He had really nice-looking eyes for a human, ones that seemed to know exactly what was needed in the situation. She liked people like that. They were often the most interesting people to follow and study. However, her momentary soft elation quickly ended with Gray's notice of her. This caused her eye to widen and her to shrink behind the tree. The only thing visible of her now were her long antennae at both sides of the tree, shivering softly.

Then she began to think about it. Why was she really hiding? He didn't exactly sound angry. He was merely inquiring her reasons to stalk him. Honestly, even she didn't really know why she was doing it at this point. She was just lost in her thoughts most of the time.

She slowly stepped out from behind the tree, the cute insectoid Togabito looking at him with a soft look of remorse, as if she'd been caught doing something wrong. However, with very slow movements, she lifted her arm and pointed to Gray, walking towards him until her finger pushed into his chest. "Human... Fullbring..." Her voice was incredibly soft, like a whisper in the wind. She circled him slowly, her antennae, rubbing around his chest and back, thoroughly studying the contours in his body. When she got back around to his front, she looked up to him and smiled softly. "Study... Fullbring..."

Gray Fullbuster

Gray watched, still with a mildly confused expression, as the person who had been watching him shrunk behind the tree and stayed there for a few moments. He took notice of the odd antennae shaking at each side of the tree, and raised an eyebrow, but otherwise said nothing. Given his experiences, and his most recent run-n with Koonuwari, he wasn’t easily freaked out or surprised. He waited for his stalker to come out, starting to get impatient. Just as he was about to say something else, she stepped out from behind the tree, albeit with the look of a child that had been caught with their hand in the cookie jar. This amused Gray, although he didn’t say so, because he didn’t want to offend her. Even though she had been the one stalking him for reasons he could not fathom, she was a girl, so he wasn’t about to be an asshole about it. Surely, she had her reasons.

He thought for sure she would say something after she came out of hiding. He didn’t know what to say, or if he really needed to say anything; it was one of those awkward situations, for the both of them. Then she walked forward, and poked him in the chest. Then before he could react to this, she started walking around him rubbing him with her antennae. Why do these weird things always happen to me? Gray thought irritably, getting increasingly uncomfortable. “What are you…” He started to ask her what she was doing, but was interrupted when she finally stopped, and smiled at him. For a moment or two, Gray didn’t know what to do. He knew he had to break the silence some time though. “How do you know that I have a fullbring?” Was all that he ended up saying, after the brief pause.

Eva purses her lips at his question. She didn't exactly want to divulge exactly what she was doing, but then again, she was not good at making things up on the spot. She thought on it for a bit and looked up to him with a look that begged for understanding, as if she were afraid of him hating her. "Eva... Follow..." She points behind her to the mountain path that he had taken and nodded. She'd actually been following him for longer than she'd ever tell him, so she'd seen enough to make an educated guess, which was truthfully all she had. "Fullbring... Scent..." She closed her eyes and her antennae twitch softly. She pokes his chest again and smiles, a faint pink tint coming to her cheeks. "Fullbring... Smell alive..." She walked away, seeming to leave him alone after that.

However, it was far from over. She only took four steps back before turning back and smiling. "Eva... Cautious..." She points to him and nods. "No harm... Perfect..." Her reiatsu then seemed to fluctuate as she knelt on the ground. She rubs a small patch of earth and giggles cutely. "Bombard..."

Just then, the ground shook as a massive beetle burst out from the earth with a ear-piercing screech. With a nod and a point toward Gray from Eva, the thing lowered it's head, flipping up the back of it's abdomen and firing it's sticky payload at Gray to capture him. However, it was far too slow to actually consider it an actual attempt at capture or even an attack. The gunk would do an excellent job at rooting him to the ground and creating an opening for Eva to correctly capture him with her silk, but Gray could easily dodge. One had to wonder if she was being serious, or even if she was testing him.

Gray Fullbuster

Given how long it was taking for Eva to answer his simple question, Gray could have almost thought that she was going to try and lie. But the look she gave him afterwards cleared away his suspicion. It seemed to him that she was just shy. Then Eva openly admitted that she had been following him, which he already knew. None of what she said really answered his question and only left him more confused. He figured, given the situation, there really was no point in prying. He didn’t care too much anyway.

When Eva started walking away, Gray looked up, surprised that she was just going to leave after going to all the trouble of following him. Then she stopped and turned around again. When he heard the word “bombard”, Gray wondered what she meant, because she obviously wasn’t talking to him now. Unfortunately, Gray had never been the best at detecting reiatsu. He could sense it, of course, but when it came to keeping tabs on someone else’s, he didn’t even bother. “What?” He asked, before starting as the ground shook suddenly and violently under his feet. “Holy shit!” He exclaimed, not expecting this turn of events at all. As the beetle flipped the back of its abdomen up and fired, Gray jumped to the side, barely able to avoid its “sticky payload” (xD sorry lol).

“What are you doing?!” Gray yelled, now staring at Eva and keeping a careful eye on the beetle. Sure, he had found Eva more than a little odd, but he had not expected her to attack him, or rather, this beetle to. Still, she didn’t look hostile, so he didn’t activate his fullbring. He did not want to fight her, if he could possibly avoid such a thing. Even so, the sword-like pendant that represented his fullbring gleamed coldly in the sunlight, having been revealed as Gray jumped out of the way of the beetle’s attack.

Eva continued to follow his movements, giggling delightedly as he dodged the trap. "Human... Skilled..." She nodded and patted the earth, giving it a smile as she waved off the beetle. It screeched as it's wings flared out and beat furiously, creating a deafening sound similar to a helicopter as it flew away. It would still be visible in the sky, just that it wasn't in the direct vicinity any longer. Eva stood up and began walking towards Gray once more, a look of curiosity in her shiny eyes.

She gasped once she saw the pendant, gazing upon it softly. It immediately registered within her brain as a point of interest, making her smile. She shook her head as he asked her what she was doing. Quite the opposite of his seemingly incredulous demeanor, she was calm, almost eerily so. She held out her arms, as if she wanted a hug. She smiled and tilted her head cutely as her antennae bobbed gently on her head.

"Come with me...?"

Gray Fullbuster

Gray brought both of his hands up to the sides of his head, covering his ears against the deafening thrumming sound that the beetle created as it took off. When it was further away, Gray let his hands drop back to his sides, staring at the retreating insect incredulously. What was that just now…? He wondered, in a slight state of shock. He had never seen any insect that big before, and it seemed to just come out of the ground. How was that possible? His wide-eyed gaze drifted over to Eva, who was now walking towards him. Now he was sure that she wasn’t entirely human, or maybe she wasn’t even human at all. He was starting to get used to this sort of thing...

Gray was jerked out of his speculation when he heard “come with me?”. His eyes focused on the girl, who now looked like she was about to try and hug him. He took a single step back, having expected her to launch another strange attack. “What are you talking about? I can’t go with you. I don’t even know where you want to take me.” Gray said, with slight annoyance, still pretty confused about what was going on. This day was turning out to be an odd one.

Eva tilts her head to the side gently with a soft look of confusion. He didn't want to go with her? How strange... Generally, when the cute bug chick asked for someone to follow her, they did so unthinkingly. However, most of those times they followed only to feed her insects, but she wasn't going to do that to this man, certainly not after his denial! This was awkward for Eva, and she mentally though of trying a different approach, one that would appeal to the man a little more than simply asking. However, Eva got the feeling that particular tactic would not work on Gray.

With a slightly perplexed look, she nodded and patted the ground again. "Lover...?" She said this while bluntly looking at Gray. Despite this being an attack order, nothing happened. It kinda went along with her tactic she thought of before, but then again, she wasn't trying to entice him. She pursed her lips and pointed to Gray gently. "Capture... Study Fullbring... Disable..." At her words, a massive centipede burst from the earth right under Gray, curling around him in a very loose coil he could easily jump away from. However, the quick bite aimed at the back of his neck might not be so easy to dodge.

From Gray's point of view, Eva did not seem to get the fact that he had no intention of going with her, no matter what she said or did. First of all, he had to get home, after he figured out where he was; he still had no idea. Then of course, there was the fact that he didn't know the togabito from a hole in the ground, and she had just attacked him, or made a giant beetle attack him. Either way, it really was not the best way to try and convince someone to come with her. Even so, he could not simply leave her out here; she would probably follow him anyways. But he did not want to attack her either. He really did not know what to do.

"What do you mean? I'm not your lover." Gray said in an exasperated tone, before tensing as he noticed Eva patting the ground again. He recalled her patting the ground before, right before the beetle had thrust its way out of the ground. Not quite sure whether it was another attack, or he was just being overly analytical, Gray took a few quick steps backward, feeling it best to be more cautious. It turned out that he had been right, as an enormous centipede burst from the ground in front of him, exactly where he had been standing only seconds ago. Before it could bite him, he ducked under it and rolled to the side, displaying speed that most would see as above average for a human. He quickly got to his feet, bringing his right hand up to grasp the sword-like pendant at his neck. “I really didn’t want to do this, but you asked for it.” Gray said. He did not want to fight Eva, but he really didn’t have a choice now. He knew he could not effectively fend off the insects with just his bare hands; or at least, not for very long. “Cold Excalibur!” He said, his voice deepening slightly as he voiced the name of his fullbring.

Seconds later, the air around Gray became noticeably colder than before, although not enough to hinder someone unless they had a very low tolerance for cold temperatures. A white, frosty mist started to rise off of the ground under his feet, and around both of his hands, which he now raised towards the centipede before him. “Ice Make: Lance!” He yelled, causing long, curved lances made of solid ice to shoot towards the centipede. Some of these lances could possibly shoot past the centipede and hit Eva, but that was not his goal.

The centipede was quick enough to move out of the way, centipedes normally being ridiculously quick. However, when the air got colder around Eva, she shivered, clutching herself with her arms tightly. When the spear came her way, since it was off-marker, it hit her cape, making her yelp in surprise and drop to the ground. The spear did not pierce through her cape, it being as tough as insect chitin, put it still pinned her to the ground by it.

Eva sat up slowly, rubbing her head and shaking it to shake away her daze. She gasped as when she tried to stand, she fell back down. She got into a knelt position and thought over her situation. She was now pinned to the ground, and although she could easily remove the spear, she really didn't want to. There was only one solution. "Capture... Human... Myself..."

She raised a hand and swiveled her wrist, webbing surrounding her and covering her completely like a cocoon. The cocoon grew, shattering the spear when it touched it and stopped at a point. Suddenly, five clawed chitinous fingers broke through, ripping the cocoon open as she very quickly finished changing. Eva's upper half looked basically the same, minus the addition of a second pair of arms. Her upper arms looked normal, while her lower arms were covered in black chitin armor. Her lower half was a rather large abdomen with four thick, but spidery legs coming out of it. She was smiling softly to Gray, placing a clawed finger into her mouth and drawing out a long thread. "Fullbring... Should come... I don't... Want to hurt you..." Her voice was still the same soft tone, except there was a distinct buzzing undertone when she spoke.

Gray Fullbuster

Gray had been more focused on the centipede than he had on Eva, since the centipede currently presented more of a threat. He still did not know whether or not Eva had any powers of her own, besides her ability to summon the different types of insects. His heart skipped a beat when he heard her yelp, thinking that one of his ice lances had hit her. Sure, he did need to get her to stop attacking him somehow, most likely by defeating her, but he definitely did not want to kill her. The Lance attack was perfectly capable of killing someone, he knew that. Gray took a few steps toward Eva, getting a feeling of relief upon seeing that one of his lances only managed to hit her cape and pin her to the ground.

Before Gray had the chance to do or say anything, Eva suddenly disappeared within a cocoon of what appeared to be spider web, after saying a few words that he didn’t manage to make out. Then the cocoon began to expand rapidly, and Gray stepped back to avoid being caught up in whatever was about to happen. It wasn’t too long before Eva tore through the cocoon, transformed. Gray took in the togabito’s new appearance, slightly astonished at her uncanny resemblance to a spider, but not fearful. After a brief moment, Gray composed himself, getting into a battle-ready stance and slightly raising his right arm as the frosty aura began to gather around both of his hands once again; as the lances from his previous attack promptly dissolved. “Why do you want me to come with you so badly?” Gray asked, still preferring not to hurt Eva if he could help it. Although if she continued to attack, he did plan to use more extreme measures to make her back off.

Oddly enough, Gray now seemed to be missing both his white coat and the black shirt he had been wearing underneath it. The garments were most likely thrown onto the ground somewhere, but where, and when he had taken them off was a mystery. Truthfully, he was not even aware that he was now half-naked.

Eva flexed the fingers on her lower arms, as if she hadn't used the form in a while. Shaking her head, she moved her antennae and sank into the ground slightly with her spidery legs. Eva twirled a finger on her top left arm in her hair and smiles, showing off a pair of small fangs. "Eva... Likes human... Wants to study..." There wasn't really more. She wanted to drag him to Hell and find out everything about a Fullbring.

Then she actually got a good look at Gray, and flushed beet red, giggling cutely. She sank to the ground, covering her face with all of her hands. This was just like one of her anime, where the valiant hero takes off his shirt and reveals his manliness to the surrounding women, who in turn, swoon over him. Eva stopped giggling as she moved one of her non-armored hands, seeing red running down the fingers. "Blood...?" She hums, wondering where in the would she could be bleeding from. Wiping her nose and sniffling, she looks to Gray awkwardly, smiling. "Human... Looks nice..."

Gray’s expression became puzzled again at Eva’s words. How can she like me? She doesn’t even know me. He wondered. Then he heard the word “study”, which made him rather irritable. “Oh, so you just want a lab rat, huh? Well that’s not going to happen.” He said resolutely, having no intention of being studied by anyone.

Then he noticed her sink to the ground and cover her face. “Are you all right?” He asked quickly, before he realized that she was actually giggling. He wondered what she could be laughing about. He looked around; trying to see what could be so funny. Sooner than later, he ended up looking down, and saw that he wasn’t wearing a shirt. Gray, of course, did not even know that he had taken it off; stripping was often like an unconscious reaction for him. He nearly jumped, somehow surprised by this even though it happened all the time. Blushing slightly, but not enough for it to be immediately noticeable, Gray turned away from Eva as the white aura around him died down a little. “Find another test subject!” He called over his shoulder to Eva as he began to walk farther away in search of his discarded clothes, embarrassed at stripping at another inappropriate moment.

Eva looked to Gray rather sadly as he turned. Was she not good enough to get this man's attention? She could always try again, when she failed. Humming, she crept along the ground using all eight of her limbs, moving with surprising speed to go around to Gray's front, standing up straight and holding out all four of her palms. She shook her head and continues.

"Eva wont... Harm Fullbring... Eva wants... Learn Human..." She purses her lips and sighs, looking down for a second, then looking back up. "Experiments...? Dissections...? Testing...?" She shook her head. "No... Eva likes... Human..." She points to his cross and smiles. "Eva just... Wants human... Study abilities... Learn..." She purses her lips, awaiting a reaction from Gray to see if her inquiry worked.

Gray Fullbuster

Gray had crouched down near a swath of bushes, rustling them around as if he were looking for his clothes. They were not there though, and he was not actually looking for them anyhow. Even if he did have a chance of finding them after they were thrown some ungodly distance, he wouldn’t care enough to actually go looking for them. He was trying to distract himself from the odd mess he was in, and the embarrassment of having stripped in front of someone again; although by now, he was quite used to that. Also, he figured that if Eva thought he was ignoring her, she would feel awkward and simply leave. Either that or she would attack him, although that did not seem too likely now.

He was about to stand up when he heard the sound of multiple steps. Of course, he knew exactly who it was, but nonetheless he still started when Eva suddenly appeared in front of him. He did not expect her to be so fast. He was still as he listened to her talk. Right now, she was only trying to reason with him; of this, Gray was sure. He sighed and closed his eyes, thinking for a moment. Sure, he was trying to get back home; to Kagamino City, but it wasn’t like there was anyone waiting there for him. He didn’t actually need to go back right away. So, he made his decision. He would go with Eva, for now. He was quite confident that he could escape the togabito should he not like how things were going. She did seem like she was telling the truth when she had said that she wouldn’t experiment on him though. And Gray had a feeling that if he refused, she would keep coming after him. Provided that he should have been more aware of the fact that he was now stepping into the unknown. He assumed that she was only taking him to another location in the Living World.

Opening his eyes once more, he stood up, now eye to eye with Eva (making that assumption because I do not know her height – and forgot to add Gray’s to the app). “Fine. I’ll tag along with you for a bit.” He said gruffly, before remembering to add in another detail. It was only proper that he tell her his name instead of being dubbed “Fullbring” all the time. “And the name’s Gray, not Fullbring.” He said, dark blue eyes darting away awkwardly. He still looked pretty annoyed at the whole situation he had gotten himself into.

Eva looked on as he mentally went over everything she had just said. Internally, she was terrified that she would have to actually harm him to get him to come. She really didn't want to harm him, especially since she wanted to see him fight at full capacity. She wanted to watch all of Cold Excalibur's abilities and possibly mimic them to make herself better.

Eva gasped and shivered in delight and partial coldness when he agreed to come with her. Her upper human arms framed her face as her hands held tight to her cheeks, as her lower insectoid arms clapped together excitedly. With a smile, she looked to Gray softly. "Gray... Name?" She nods and points to herself. "Erestreid... Valkerna... Ataraelcz... Call Eva instead... Shorter..." She nods and brushes her antennae against his chest, sensing his disarray about something. Then it hit her. His clothes were gone, and even he must be feeling a little chilly up on a mountaintop. With a smile, she pressed a human finger into Gray's chest. "Please... Wait here..." And with that, she was gone, skittering across the ground extremely quickly like some spiders.

However, she wasn't just going to get his clothes. Finding them was simplistic, as his scent was all over her antennae by now. Instead, she was testing him yet again. She had found the discarded clothing within five minutes due to sheer speed and followed scent. However, on her way back, she stopped before she came back into view, just far enough away to still be able to pick out his scent. She wanted to see if he was actually going to stick around like she asked, or if he would bolt because she was clearly giving him a chance. If he ran, then that was that and she'd have to find someone else to study.

Gray Fullbuster

Gray looked on with a slightly dumbfounded expression at Eva’s reaction to him agreeing to come along. He still did not understand why she liked him so much, and it wasn’t like he was the only person in the world with a fullbring... He nodded when Eva gave her name. He wouldn’t say it out loud, but he was glad that she gave him the option of calling her just Eva, because her actual name was a real mouthful, and he quite sure that he would mispronounce it on multiple occurrences.

He noticed her shiver and quickly deactivated his fullbring, since it was the most likely the main source of cold. The white aura from earlier faded quickly. It wasn’t exactly warm on the mountain either, but Gray had a high tolerance for cold –even when half-naked – so he didn’t notice. When she poked him again and told him to wait, he wondered what she was doing, and then it hit him: she must have gone to find his clothes. She didn’t need to do that…, he thought, since the cold really didn’t bother him.

After a while, he began to get impatient. She was taking a while to come back. He didn’t think that he had thrown his clothes that far. He could go and look for her, but then she might come back while he was looking for her, which would cause a lot of unnecessary confusion. Tapping his left foot impatiently, he continued to wait. It never crossed his mind to try and run away. He had told her that he would come, after all.

Eva smiled softly as she realized he wasn't going anywhere. The she thought of another anime she had watched where the man had waited the return of his lovely bride, and blushed beet red, giggling softly and imagining herself in such a scenario. With a shake of her head, she turn back into her mostly human form, because there were certainly no insect brides in any anime she ever watched, and climbed over the rocks concealing her. Certainly, he would be more comfortable around her in her human form.

Walking over to him, showing a little more difficulty walking while human showing him that she would obviously prefer her insectoid form. She stopped in front of him once more and held out his discarded clothing, smiling softly. She didn't say a thing about them, and hoped that seeing her awkward walk would displace any thoughts of treachery for her length of absence. She twitched her antennae, still a little cold being on a mountaintop and all. That was shown by her cape being tightly wrapped around her.

Gray Fullbuster

Gray caught sight of Eva when she climbed over the rocks, as he had already been looking off in that direction. He noted that she seemed to have changed back to normal. It wasn’t as if he was afraid of her spider form or anything, but he knew how most other people would react. If they were going somewhere where there were other people, she really couldn’t use that form.

He had been about to tell her that she didn’t need to go to the trouble of searching for his clothes, but decided against it, thinking it might sound like he was telling her that she was only wasting time. “Thanks,” he said, taking them from her and quickly putting on the black shirt. He was about to put on the white coat as well – since he didn’t want to have to carry it -- when he remembered Eva being cold. He held it out to her instead. “If you’re still cold, you can wear this. I don’t find it cold,” he said. There was no hint of deception in his voice; this wasn’t some pick up move, he had only known Eva for a few minutes anyways. He was merely being considerate.

Eva pursed her lips as she looked at his held out jacket, humming softly. "Eva... Take?" She grins widely and snuggles into the jacket, apparently not used to kind gestures. She slides it on and smiles softly. "Thank you... Gray..." She looked to the sky and softly speaks. "Retreat..." Just then, a pair of massive dragonflies seemingly appear from nowhere, due to the sheep speed they had. Their speed made the centipede from earlier look like a snail! She tugs Gray's arm cutely to get him onto the massive insect and pushed him flat onto it's back. Good thing she did, for when they sped off, if he had been slightly up, he would have flown right off!
