Looking for Love in All the Wrong Places [Rook//Open]

People were looking at him again. Ruko let out a lowly sigh, letting his head fall forward. He didn't want their entranced looks. He had gotten enough looks already. After making a bit of a scene earlier in the day, which was his form of dumping people, he had stormed off past a crowd of staring eyes. What had they even been gawking at him like that for? He had every right to kick down that door and throw that annoying man right out of the opening? He had finally proven unworthy after a few days and he just wouldn't let Ruko go like he wanted to. Not that he would have gone peacefully anyway, but hearing that whining had only set the togabito off even more. Sonow here he was walking down the street with a pissed off look and blood splatter across his torso on his white shirt under his coat. Who was that bastard to bleed on him. He had barely used any strength when he punched him right in the nose. Guy must have been week if he bled enough for it to splash onto him. Needless to say that was what got him thrown out of his own house.

With the mixture of blood dotting across his clothes, and the large womanly chest on which that blood was splattered, he was quite the sight to look on. No one was used to seeing a woman so tall. Too bad they didn't know he was not fully a woman. Not that he was about to burst out singing about having male parts too. But it was like he was able to read their minds. How badly he wanted to yell. He had been woken up early so he was already aggitated and now he was envisioning questions he'd get if he was to speak at all. Not that the rest of his body didn't already raise though questions. He was too manly looking elsewhere to be the girl people thought he was. They were probably scared of him as they passed by. He could see it in their nervous looks. "Bastards.."

Ruko brought his cup up to his lips, downing nearly his entire cup of searing coffee he had just gotten. It made the skin inside of his mouth a bit tender and his tongue ached but he didn't care. He had to stay awake, at least long enough to get home, home being an ex's house which he had confiscated through not so pleasant methods. He had been so scared of being killed that he just left. And Ruko hadn't seen him since so he wondered if the man had just run out of town completely.

He just wated to nap. Sleep would make him happy. Or being petted. His eyes rolled slightly to the back of his head at that thought. How badly he wanted a hand to gently stroke over his head like petting a feline. He almost purred. He was so caught up in his fantasy and half way asleep so he didn't realize when he walked straight into the back of a large man, clearly a tourist by his pale, seriously PALE, skin and yellow hair pulled back into a ratty looking pony tail. And he wasn't a friendly tourist either. He was wearing some cheesey looking leather jacket that made him look touch and when he turned around to face Ruko he had the typical beard of a biker from some western country. Man did he think he was a badass.

Though when those ugly brown eyes looked at the soft features of a girl's face his aura changed to a something different. He smiled cockily, leaning slightly, which was hardly needed since they were basically the same height. He used that god foraken "Hello there, little lady" and Ruko felt his brow twitch. He was too tired for this. Though he still decided to play along for a moment. He leaned in, batting his long eye lashes as he put on a fake blush. This was obviously pleasing. What else could that annoying chuckle mean? Thoguh that man's laugh was cut of by a quick hit to his gut.

"Get out of here you bastard!" Ruko shouted, straightening up with his fists balled up at his sides. The man was now on his knees, looking up at Ruko with confused eyes before it dawned on him. that wasn't a pretty younng lady. He let out a manta consisting of a repeated "oh god, oh god, oh god!" before ran got up and ran away, quickly followed by his friends who were enjoying themselves more than they thought they ever could on their little trip, sure to give the man hell for the rest of his life.

Dusting his hands off, Ruko opted to just sit on a bench rather than make the not so long trek home. He was too tired. Not caring what eyes were on him he let his head fall back some and he closed his uncovered eye, planning to take a short, light nap. If Rook were at home he would probably sense him and come running. Then he could get petted like he needed to be. Needed to be so bad. Though there were other things running around too that could have sensed him. If they approached and interupted yet more sleep for the drowsy togabito they'd get a hell of a fight. He wasn't up to dealing today.

Rook shot up in the bed he usually shared with Ruko, sensing that certain someone. His ears perked up as his whole aura seemed to shift from gloomy, to as happy as a puppy in a room full of people. He jumped out of bed, getting dressed quickly. As he was almost finished putting his pants on, he fell down the stairs, landing on his face. A low groan came out from the man, before he slipped up his pants all the way, and rubbed his face, and exited outside.

The man ran down the streets, heading directly towards the bench were Ruko was sitting, sensing that familiar person to their exact location. He was happy, instantly forgiving Ruko for abandoning him for a couple of days as he went off for his current one true love, even though his true one true love was always at home, waiting for Ruko. But oh well, that didn't matter right now. All that mattered was for him to get to Ruko as fast as possible. He was almost there, everyone getting out of the way from the giant man, standing at 6'9 with his platform shoes, and his seemingly unhuman energy level.

He rounded the corner, skidding slightly as he saw Ruko for the first time in days. He caught himself, and ran towards him. He stopped himself just in time, coming to a halt just to the left of Ruko, sitting on the bench right next to him. "Ruko! I'm glad to see you!" He exclaimed, looking him over and seeing the usual blood stain. Obviously from the man he thought he loved. Of course, Rook knew what was next. Instinctively, he put his arm around Ruko, and petted the top of his head as if he were a cat. He would keep it up for awhile, knowing that Ruko would love every moment of it. He always did.

Ruko could feel some one getting closer, some one who he didn't have to put too much effort into recognizing. It was just as he thought. He didn't even have to go all the way home to be met by his adoring friend. He heard Rook's feet speed his way, barely stopping before reaching him. He allowed a smile to come to his lips though he didn't open his eye. He was way too tired for that right now. Even if he had wanted to the action seemed like it would require far too much effort. "Hello Rook." he said kindly, at least lifting his head a little bit to acknowledge his lifelong friend. It fell back a moment later, in sync with a deep breath released from his nose.

"Things didn't work out with that bastard" he complained, a line that seemed like another part of this ritual they had. It would seem like Rook would throw out an 'I told you so' or a 'Duh' but he never did, always just coming to comfort him like a loyal dog, the only dog he would ever like. Dogs were too intolerable for his feline nature. That feline nature made itself apparent when he felt a warm hand stroking over his head. Instantly his lips curled up into a cat like smile, his face suddenly becoming a lot happier looking as he leaned into the touch from Rook. The togabito even purred, humming softly in the back of his throat. "So good...~" he sat up, pushing against Rook's hand and moving his own head to keep the petting up for a while longer.

When the petting session finally ceased, Ruko sat up, suddenly in a much better mood. He rubbed his eye with the back of his hand, stretching his other arm high above his head. Slowly he began to come to, looking around before his gaze finally fell upon Rook. He brought his hand down from the air, ruffling the brunette's hair like he would if petting a dog. "Sorry for leaving you alone for so long. If I had known what a bastard he was I never would have left you" he said in an apology. And there was the last part of their cycle. Well Almost complete...

"Oh right" Ruko removed his hand, reaching down under his jacket and fumbling around in the little space left there between the tight fit and his blessed chest to dig into his shirt pocket. He pulled out a candy bar, a kind he knew Rook liked. Even if he could just go down the street and get it himself, Ruko figured getting one for his friend would make him happy. "I got you something" He waved the candy bar around, though not yet just handing it to him. He would do so until Rook was begging like a dog for food. It was something Ruko always found to be rather cute and amusing. When he finally did beg enough to be treated to the candy bar, Ruko would again ruffle his hair, before bringing his hands to his lap, looking around the streets. "Have you had any fun the past few days? Did you stay up ion your room and sleep?" Because that was something very fun, for the both of them.

Rook was more of himself now, more happy. He had been out of it the last few days with his best friend gone out and onto a new guy, like what happened what seemed like a few times a month. Even though Rook knew he should get mad, or at least bring something up, he didn't want to. Didn't want to make this person mad or leave him. So, he didn't really mention anything and just let their cycle continue. It was getting to his favorite part actually, to see the pure bliss on Ruko's face from the pets. And to hear that cute purr of his. He usually didn't like cats much, but he made an exception for Ruko.

He simply watched Ruko, before giving a big smile as his hair was ruffled. He continued to smile, even though the pet wasn't for very long. "It's okay. I'm used to it." He said, still looking up at Ruko as he still sat on the bench. He followed Ruko's hand, but paused to stare at the bust. He could never help staring at it, especially when it's just eyelevel to him. That is, he couldn't help it until his favorite candy bar suddenly appeared. He immediately got off of the bench and sat on the ground like a dog. It was the final step, when he got his treat.

Rook whined and pawed at Ruko's stomach, smiling up at him. He continued to whine, before actually breaking out into speak. "Plleeassssee please please please please. caaaannndddyyyy" He started to whine again, but louder. People started to stare at them. Well, people were already staring, but now even more so. Of course, half of the guys were staring at Ruko's chest, but everyone else was giving odd glances to the large man acting like a dog. The whining finally stopped when he got the candy bar.

It took him a few moments to eat the candy, shoving the entire thing into his mouth and chewing only three times before swallowing it near whole. He finally got up, the dog moment seeming to pass. Everyone continued on, only a few people left to stare at the odd couple. But they were used to this, people always stared. "Some." He responded, scratching behind his right ear. [Color=Red] "I mostly just slept in our room. It smelled nice. That, and then just waiting for you and trying to scavenge food. How was the 'bastard'?" He asked, tilting his head slightly.
