| The crowds were dense in the streets. It was just time for humans to be getting out of work in the city and so a rush came from the different office buildings. Not to mention the news of what had happened one town over was haunting everyone. They were panicked, with worried looks on their faces. some likely had family and friends there. Some probably even lived there, traveling every day. And there was always the thought of "What if it happens here?". The atmosphere of the downtown street was one of distress. "They're so worked up. They can't even see whats in front of them.." Walking among the crowd though was Leyla. She wasn't getting any attention from the scared crowds despite her previous melodic humming. The togabito looked around with hard golden eyes, a deep frown starting to form. She clutched her stuff rabbit close to her chest, her hand tightly wrapped around its neck. If her beloved Prince Roscoe Pipkin Ollie had been living there was no way the rabbit would survive her grip. Her steps sudden;y became faster as she pushed past the elbows of some rather dull looking adult (office workers always wore the most boring outfits). She then laid eyes upon what she needed. Up ahead there was a raised wall that seperated the sidewalk from a lowering staircase. Her frown was all but existant as she head towards it, swiftly moving through the crowd to get to it. Finally reaching her destination, Leyla reached up, placing her stuffed toy upon the stone ledge first before pulling herself up, being sure not to get dirty or scrape her pale skin. she stood up straight, running her hands over the black skirt of her dress. She brushed away any wrinkle within her black gloves, making sure the pale red bows there.She fixed her silver buttons, adjusting her color and the ribbon around her neck. Her fingers weaved through thick blonde hair, placing her small back hat perfectly at the side. She worked hard on her appearance, wanting to make sure she looked doll like so no one could look away. And it was working. Already there were a few eyes being cast her way. But who could help such a thing? The appearingly young girl standing upon the cement wall had an aura of otherwordliness, and only a few among the living world would know why that was so. To all other she seemed like a young angelic girl, blessed with looks. But she was about to get even more attention. She opened her mouth and the purest of voices sounded in a song that echoed through the valley of tall buildings, allowing her to be heard by all around. Suddenly people were stopping, looking around for the voice they were hearing , then seeing the girl standing up above the heads of other, swaying softly with each word in tune. "♪ ...Everyone knows and understands,Meeting eye to.eye, expressions transform into smiles, We had been living earnestly and recklessly, like that blue fire in the sky the inside of my chest is warm...♪ " she continued, a crowd now growing around her. She had a smile upon her face as she closed her eyes, looking more heavenly than before as she sang 'for people's hopes'. Really she was just relishing the the eyes that were all staring at her. Eyes on faces that were starting to smile, getting a certain calmness from her words. She'd bee using this trick for...well since before she even knew so many years ago in her life as a human. "♪ ..Even if it becomes cloudy, even if it rains, if I close my eyes, I continue to float, In such a dazzling place, we were standing together, experiencing it entirely, shedding tears, sharing these human emotions...♪ " She held her hands out in front of her, allowing them the slightest of motions as she sang with 'all of her heart'. She could barely hear footsteps anymore. From the small amount she opened her eyes she could see dozens f rows of people standing around her, some holding up cellphones to record her, others holding back tears as they thought on the tragedies of the day, others seemed to just be lost, with nothing to say and no actions to make. It was everything Leyla wanted. Her plan was a success. As her song faded out to its end, Leyla lowered her arms to her side, taking a deep breath before she opened her eyes. There wasn't a sound, only silence of what was running through people's minds from her small makeshift performance. She picked up her cream colored rabbit, holding him to her chest again before she jumped down, landing where people made room for her. Suddenly she felt hands on her, even arms around her as a particularly touched woman was moved so much as to embrace the girl. Leyla accepted it, not putting up a protest as to ruin her image. Instead she tanked the woman, wishing her good luck from there on which only made her burst out in a new stream as tears. They ran right down her fat cheeks, leaving trails off too much make up and for a moment Leyla wondered if she had gotten any on her, almost grimacing but found the self control not to. She waved to the crowd, staying along the wall as she escaped the circle they had made around her. Even as she walked away she could feel their eyes on her back as she walked with a skip in her step. Of course she knew she was drawing a lot of attention to herself, that was the point. She also knew some eyes in the city would be ones that recognized just what she was. She wasn't some human. She wasn't the angel those people thought she was. Quite the opposite exactly. And here she was parading around without a care. She could handle herself. | |

| The girl's song would appeared to have summoned more than just a crowd of fans. A speck of darkness appeared on the earth several metres away from the gathered crowd and slowly began to expand outwards. Passers by would be oblivious to the fact, but as the cavity grew, the figure of a woman arose from it. Incidentally, the portal was placed in one of the busiest intersections. Luckily, all lights were red, allowing pedestrians to cross the intersection diagonally, In the centre of it all, the woman finally fully emerged from the depth, floating only several centimetres above the ground as her transport closes and the ground was once again safe to walk on. The white light with a picture of a man walking was replaced by a blinking red light in the shape of hand. Those just starting to cross hastened their step, trying to make it before the blinking stopped and the solid hand took over, indicating the time for safe crossing was at an end. Though those around her showed signs of haste, the woman simply stood without a care in the world in the middle of the intersection, apparently lost in thought. Now, where are you sweetie....
As she thought, the waves of people retreated to the safety of the side walk; a sea of vehicles replaced them. The countless vehicles brushing past her, barely missing the woman failed to phase her as she tilted her head back and closed her eyes. She deprived herself of visual distractions as she began her search for the oh so familiar presence of a fellow creature from hell. She let out all her breath and quickly drew in air several times, sniffing the surrounding atmosphere for a scent she would find familiar.
Found you. Her eyes opened to face the direction of scent. With zero regard for her surroundings, the Sin began heading toward the source of the scent. She had almost made it to the safety of the side walk when a taxi cab unknowingly ploughed into her. She merely stood still as the metal wrapped itself around her unable to overcome the inertia. To the human eye, there would be no logical explanation to the cause of the accident. The woman waited for the smouldering wreck to stop moving before she stepped away from the accident.
The crowd of people who've gathered to enjoy the girl's song mere moments ago were now rushing to the site of the collision to inspect the extent of the damage and to perhaps figure out the cause of the accident -- they were going the wrong way for the latter. Gluttony brushed past the crowd, determined to get to the source of the scent she was currently tracking. The sea of people was growing denser and denser as more people flooded out of near by establishments to get a glimpse of the action. Sirens could be heard in the distance, adding a nice harmony to the chaos of voices. The woman simply kept on, almost oblivious to the whole situation. This would have been easy to ignore, had the crowd not grown so dense she could hardly move.
Of course, this wasn't going to derail her from her goal. The woman allowed some of her spiritual energy to seep out, creating a small bubble of reiatsu around her, just enough to allow her some personal space. As the energy surrounded her, the pressure exerted onto the humans proved to be too much for their frail bodies to handle; one by one they began to collapse from the dense pressure near the woman's body. As she pushed forward, a path was created of fainting humans. Those unaffected quickly moved toward the ones collapsed on the ground in an attempt to help them. The woman continued on her path, finally passing the crowd of people and into a clearing. She was getting close.
Finally, she was able to make visual contact with the creature giving off the scent she had been following. She watched the girl's back as she walked, wondering if she already knew of her presence: well, if she didn't know already, she would soon. "Sorry to steal your crowd from you, hon." She stopped for the girl to turn around. "But I think they like me a little more." Now that she had her attention. "So what's a cutie like you doing here all by your lonesome? Wouldn't you like someone to play with?"

| As she was walking away, Leyla heard a loud noise of shattering glass and twisting metal like a car slamming into a street light. However from the memory in her mind there had been no such things. That and there was the sudden overwhelming feel of familiar power. Leyla paled for a moment, stopping in her steps. However a moment later her eyes narrowed. Paying closer attention she realized it wasn't the higher being she was always the least pleased to see, her own master of course. None the less this one ranked around the same level. Another Sin. Suddenly a disgusting feeling of dread settled in the pit of her stomach, her lips quivering and fighting of trhe grimace. Her hand was clutching her stuff rabbit again, her nails nearly piercing through the fabric that would leave a mess of stuffing. She didn't turn around, already knowing what kind of sight would be awaiting her. All those people that had been cheering for her a moment ago were likely already moving on and paying attention to whatever sort of accident the newly present sin had went and created. They were murmuring, uttering small things to their friends. Others were shouting, wondering if the person in the car was okay. And of course there were those that just paid too much attention and questioned what the car had hit. But none of them, not one single person, not even the woman that had been bawling and touched her like some kind of plush animal, was saying a word about Leyla nor her song. A darkness fell over her with that thought. How dare they? Who did they think they were? sin or not, they were instantly put onto the list of those Leyla hated, which to be fair wasn't hard to get on. There were a least a few hundred on that list that still remained uneliminated...for now. And then that voice reached her ears and she felt her shoulders tense. It wasn't from fear like one might expect from her in the presence of the being that was so much more powerful than her. It was pure hatred running through every fiber of her being. Those words. They tore at her like nothing else. This woman didn't have to go and rub in the fact that she had stolen the crowd. Of course that didn't stop her form doing it. That earned her a glare from Leyla. The blonde slowly turned her head, looking over her shoulder with her lips in a thin straight line and the only form of expression being the burning anger in her golden eyes. Even still she allowed her eyes to look over the sin, recognizing her as Gluttony. The sins might not have been too close to one another but even pets knew the faces of each sin. And here she was stuck with an attention stealing show off who she couldn't even do anything to. Then of course that also likely meant nothing could be done to her without some problems from her own master. So it would seem she was safe. Safe to say just about anything she wanted. "I was just putting on a little show that is now ruined" she answered shortly, not too thrilled which was obvious to tell. She swng her head back forward, her long hair flowing with her. "And for your information I'm not alone. My prince is with me" Leyla turned her nose up in a scoff, hugging the cream colored rabbit into her chest to show just who this prince was. "And just what are you doing here? All that chaos draw you in too, Miss Gluttony?" She wasn't afraid to let the woman know she knew just who she was and was still acting in such a manner. She just didn't care. Why should she? The only person she ever did show any respect to was Envy and even then she thought terrible things of her. "Well i hate to tell you but its all over. Theres nothing left to do with it." | |

| "It's all over"? Au contrarire, now that all eyes were on the accident and not the two supernatural beings, it was certainly just beginning. The buzz of the crowd was so distant they may have well been in another city. After all, humans are always far more interested in what they could perceive than what they could not. So she had learned from her millennia of living among the humans. Far too many events caused by spiritual entities akin to herself have been mistaken as acts of "Gods", oh if only they were able to fully understand the world they lived in. However, being a "God" has a certain ring to it, no? The woman steadily increased the amount of spiritual energy she was leaking, making her presence more and more noticeable. Though it loses most of its potency on the girl she was conversing with, the increase in the energy density would certainly be lethal for any humans coming too close to the two -- wouldn't want anyone to spoil the private party, now would we?
"Oh sweetie, your show was amazing," Her voice was full of feigned kindness and sincerity. The woman slowly approached the girl, closing the distance between the two. Speaking so far away seemed so... uncomfortable. She wouldn't want the girl to feel uncomfortable now, would she? No, that wouldn't be very nice of Lyra. "I just thought I'd make it a little better. Cherry on top of the cake, no?" They would be separated by no more than few metres when her lips curled upwards in a smile. Using a sliver of her energy, the woman's physical form would disappear from the girl's sight. Within fractions of a second she would reappear mere centimetres away from her, face still wearing that smile. Much better.
At this distance, the girl would probably feel slightly pressured by her presence. Comfy yet? She looked down to meet eyes with the girl, their noses mere centimetres from touching. "It was getting boring down in Hell, so I decided to pay my favourite little hell spawn a visit." She used a patronizing tone for the sole purpose of pushing the girl's buttons. "Aren't you happy to see me?" Her smile turned into a small pout. The woman's torso was bent slightly, leaning toward the girl, her hands behind her back making sure their bodies were as close as possible. Doesn't that feel pleasant?
She slowly bent at her knees, bringing herself down to the eye level with the stuffed bunny. "Well, I know someone is happy to see me." Though she lowered herself, her gaze never left the girl's, eyes still locked, making solid contact. From her actions, she just knew the girl would hate the idea of her prince being touched by someone like Lyra: perfect. The index finger of her right hand extended to greet the stuffy's mid section, giving it a light jab, pushing in the fabric and stuffing. Her eyes have since moved to the bunny clenched in the girl's arms. "Aren't you? What a handsome prince you are."

| Cherry on the cake? Thats what she was calling her little stunt? More like shoving her foot right into it and ruining it for the whole party. Her glare was deadlocked on the sin, not afraid to show her displeasure. She didn't let her gaze falter, watching every move Lyra made, or at least she thought she had been. She didn't even know when it happened but suddenly Lyra was no more that inches from her face. She could feel the woman's breath pass over her skin and it was sickening. She tried not to react to the new closeness but despite her best efforts a shiver went down her spine, her eyes widening just slightly, though she quickly turned them into a cold glare again. Even still she turned her head, leaning back some to widen the space between them, clearly uncomfortable. "Don't mess with me" she muttered under her breath, knowing full well no matter how quietly she spoke in their position nothing would go unheard. She eyes that pout and rolled her eyes, giving a faked laugh in response. A VERY fake laugh. She raised a brow and smirked at the woman, giving her that look like the typical bitch in high school. "As if I'd be happy to see an old hag like you" No she was in no mood for holding back. "Why don't you go bother some one else already? Don't you have your own pe..ts.."She grew quiet when Lyra moved, now eye level with her beloved Prince. She wouldn't dare... They look on Lyra's face told it all. Utter horror was displayed on Leyla's features as that blasted woman touch her most precious possession. Her lips were trembling, her eyes not blinking and her skin pale as ghost. Finally getting a grip she shuffled back, her thin arms holding Prince Roscoe Pipkin Ollie all the closer to her chest which was now heaving. "As if he'd want to see you! Get out of here!" she didn't sound all that terrifying, her voice cracking slightly when she yelled too loud. If they had previously lost their crowd before, they were certainly starting to get it back now. A few people that had been surrounding the car accident were now starting to glance their way as they heard the girl's shouts. And for once Leyla didn't notice the eyes that were on her. She didn't care what kind of attention she was drawing or what that attention might cost those people in the long run. It would be their own faults for being nosey after all so why should she even care? | |

| Well that was rude. She'd been called many things before, but "old hag" seemed a little bit offensive. Sure, she'd lived several millennia, sure she'd witnessed the rise and fall of a plethora of cultures... these thoughts aren't exactly helping her case. Still, it was a hurtful name: one should never comment on a woman's age, especially this woman. Lyra paid no attention to the eyes beginning to gather upon the pair -- they can look all they want, as long as no one interfered, but just in case.... She allowed another fraction of her reiatsu to leak out, increasing her already evident presence. Those who began to approach would soon find themselves short of breath, and eventually collapsing: she made sure none could approach within fifty metres -- it would be troublesome to have to deal with such annoyances as humans. As a side effect, the girl would most likely feel sightly pressured accompanied by loss of energy.
"Pets?" She dug though her memory banks, sifting through the images of the various creatures which called themselves her "servants", remembering the distinct taste of each and every one of them as she devoured their flesh and consumed their souls. Though they provided her with little entertainment, none were able to survive what she considered "having fun". Why do her toys always break? "Oh sweetie, pets don't last very long with me, as with all my toys." The woman licked her lips, as the last few fragments of how each of her pets tasted came to mind. She was nearly salivating at this point.
"That's hurtful," She remarked, referring to the old comment. "I have feelings too, you know." The woman was still on her knees as she spoke, turning her attention now to the stuffed animal she clenched ever so tightly. "Wouldn't you agree?" She was now talking to her "prince". "We should teach her some manners, no? I think she should apologize, don't you think so?" She finally stood up, her eyes meeting Leyla's once more. "Now, are you going to apologize to sister Lyra?" The woman suddenly brought her lips within inches of the girl's neck, her breath would be quite easily felt on her sensitive skin. Slowly, she moved them up the girl's neck to her ear. "Or am I going to have to get a little... rough?"

| Leyla was the first to notice the new level of pressure the sin was letting go. She swayed for a moment under the new power, her vision momentarily blurring. She caught herself unsteadily, the thick heels of her shoes making the action slightly awkward. With a few shallow breaths she regained her composure. It was a bit more difficult than it had been before, but she stood as straight as a board, not willing to give way an inch. The girl clenched her teeth behind lips that were tensed in a straight line, clearly not as amused as Lyra seemed to be by the situation she was making. She was almost tempted to grab for her hatchet but knew better than to think she had a chance. Where the hell was Kira the one time she needed the woman? That woman really was no aid to her. Though it was probably better than be this woman's pet. She could only imagine how intolerable that must have been. At least she didn't have to spend every waking moment with Kira, or inside her stomach for that fact. Leyla clearly grimaced at the thought. She was Gluttony. Eating her own pets wouldn't come as a surprise. 'How disgusting' she almost said out loud, catching herself at the last second. Clearly Leyla was beginning to feel better, able to snicker when Lyra spoke of how she had feelings. 'What a load of crap' she mocked within her mind, fighting the urge to bust out laughing hysterically. The sins were no better than monsters. Hell, she was no better than a monster. They didn't have any feelings that were capable of being hurt like Lyra was suggesting. "You can't be serious" the togabito scoffed, shaking her head slightly with another snicker. How ridiculous. The humor was gone when that woman began to eye her beloved prince again. Leyla lifted him up some, turning her torso enough to break the eye contact Lyra held with him. She did not want that woman even laying her eyes upon him. Unfortunately that left her all the more open to Lyra when she closed even more distance. She shivered under her hot breath, holding her breath. She didn't want to smell it. Now she was beginning to give in. She tore her golden eyes away from Lyra's looking down to Roscoe. She didn't open her mouth though. She would apologize the same moment Lyra became anorexic. And she didn't hesitate to show her stubbornness. With a reaffirmed determination she looked back to Lyra, her eyes only holding annoyance. Though she arched her brow, putting on a smirk as if taunting her. Really on the inside she was wondering just how good of an idea this was, doubting it would end with the desired effect of the sin just leaving, expecting a good sized chunk to be ripped from her throat. | |

| Oh, she could already tell this was going to get exciting. In all honesty, what ever response the girl gave would have made little difference, but Lyra couldn't have asked for a better response. Of course, this was all part of her little plan for the afternoon's entertainment. The way the girl was being stubborn meant that she had a reason -- not that she ever needs one -- to rough, and oh it is going to get rough. She simply stood a moment, soaking in the girl's loathing glares, taking some twisted pleasure in devouring her resentment. Though it was only for a split second, the Sin was quite able to catch the girl wavering: the split second her eyes moved away from Lyra and towards her bunny was all the conformation she had needed. When the girl's gaze returned to Lyra, it would be greeted with a similar smile. However, Lyra's was completely genuine. There was no doubts in her mind that the girl was putting on a brave, defiant act. How cute. The woman could hardly wait to nip and tug at those walls till they came crumbling down bit by bit, piece by piece. If the girl was expecting something fast and painless, she'd have another thing coming. Like a good meal, this was to be savoured slowly, allowing the flavours ample time to dance on the tongue. The hors d'oeuvre had been served, and the main course was on its way.
Slowly, she made her way toward a near by power post. The people in her path began to fall one by one, as she brought her ever-present aura toward them creating a path of fainted pedestrians marking her route. With a swift strike, the wooden post holding the wires crumbled, splintering into pieces which shot in every direction but her own. The tension placed on the wires from the downed post pulled on either side, tightening up the length of cable until the characteristic droop was replaced by straight taut wire. She wrapped her digits around the wire -- now at ground level -- and gave her wrist a twist, snapping one end of the cable off its position on the post. It was evident after severing the line that it provided electricity for the entire block, as the lights within surrounding builds began to flicker and finally shut off.
All that energy being transferred in the wire had to go somewhere. She felt the heat and pain surging through her palm as it seared the palm of her hand, bringing with it the distinct smell of burnt flesh -- yum. It didn't bother her. The only purpose of pain was to reassure her she was still, in fact, alive, nothing more but a hindrance really. With the end of the power line in hand, she began to make her way back to the girl once more, reclaiming her position mere centimetres away from the girl. With a harsh tug she managed to break off a two and a half metre long length of power line. This will do just fine. The woman twisted her wrist, wrapping the cable around her hand a single time.
"I'm always serious, sweet heart." She leaned in close and whispered. Without moving away, she raised her right and and brought it down in a rapid motion, jerking her wrist at the end of its trajectory. This series of movements caused the length of cable to crack much like a bull-whip, disturbing the gravel and dust on the asphalt as it landed at the side of the Sin: she seemed quite adept at handing such a too, as if she had prior experience. "Now," The Sin turned her cheek toward the girl's lips, placing the index finger of her free hand gently on her skin. "Give Lyra a kiss, and tell her you're sorry." Another crack of the whip followed, "You wouldn't want me to repeat myself, now would you?"

| Leyla couldn't lie, she was glad when the woman backed off. She was able to breathe easier, taking in a quiet gasp and hoping it would go by unnoticed. At first she didn't watch Lyra, instead looking down to her rabbit again. Some how the stuffed animal was able to comfort her in some way and she felt herself relax even more. Honestly what could Lyra do to her? Kira wasn't her favorite person in the world but Leyla at least knew that the woman wouldn't take kindly to a pet of hers being harmed by another sin, especially when she wasn't around to stop them. The girl shook her head, questioning why she had even been scared. Nothing was going to happen. She was just being used as a toy to pass the time until some other tragedy hit. That was what she was starting to believe anyway, The togabito flinched at the sound of the pole snapping, her head shooting up in a flash. The first thing she noticed was the unconscious bodies lying about. How had some other being not noticed them yet and intervened? Leyla knew others were around somewhere. Were they too chicken to go anywhere near Lyra's power? How pitiful. The next thing she noticed was the wire held in Lyra's hand, noting how her skin seemed to be burned, something that a sickening searing smell confirmed. Leyla covered her mouth to block out that smell, her eyes wide and on Lyra. Made this woman just didn't care about her master.That was when she became a bit panicky. When the sin walked her way, Leyla took a step back but got no further than that. The only other move she made was the lowering of her arm back across her chest so she could hold her Prince, needing him more than ever. Leyla couldn't look Lyra i the eye now. A cold sweat became evident on her skin that was paler than it usually was. Instead of looking to her presented cheek, she looked past her to the cable that had been torn from its place supply electricity to the block. She watched the makeshift whip crack on the ground, flinching as it did so. Her fear seemed evident but something else was hidden in her eyes too. She wasn't about to be a good little girl and give into this intolerable old hag. Defiance was clear. If Lyra wanted a show she was going to give her one. She doubted that Lyra was expecting her to cave. She was enjoying herself too much to even want such a thing. "Heh.." Leyla worked up the strength to lift her eyes, mocking written in them. "I don't think so you Old Hag" She smiled again, suddenly looking much calmer. She wasn't about to be shown up again. She might have looked cocky but she wasn't stupid enough to stay within range of that cable. Lyra looked far too fond of that kind of weapon to stay too close. She lunged back, not waiting to land before throwing her right arm out to the side. From under her glove, a dozen or so faded red ribbons showed themselves, wrapping around her thin limb before spiraling out like a dozen whips ready to be used. Leyla whipped her arm out toward Lyra and those ribbons grew out, crooked, pointed edges racing the sin's way. They aimed for her arm with the hand that held the whip. If they got the chance to they would wrap around that arm before piercing into skin and locking themselves there, searing the flesh they were in contact with. Leyla doubted it was anything to the sin. Lyra was levels above her. But Leyla wasn't going to just sit back and not put up a fight. Besides they had quite the crowd now. It had already been made clear by Lyra that the two of them weren't ordinary humans, not humans at all. So she had to put on a show for them as well. | |

Despite her valiant effort to suppress her fears, even the smallest hint did not go unnoticed by Lyra. All it took was the slightest of signs -- like the way she looked up when she heard the pole snap, or the way she covered her nose and mouth to block out the scent of burning flesh. Such trivial things barely even registered to the Sin, it was a mere inconvenience caused by her fleshy exterior. Oh having a body made of such fragile material really did have its down sides. She noticed the girl lunge back and simply allowed it -- where was the fun if she didn't at least give the girl a chance? The woman's sight traced her every movement form when she summoned her weapons to when she willed them to shoot out toward Lyra. This would have been the first time the girl had tried to make contact with her; Lyra is not one to disappoint. Though it was well in her ability to avoid such an assault by the girl -- especially one with indecisive thoughts of whether she should run or fight -- she allowed the ribbons to connect to their target. As soon as they touched her skin, she felt the material tighten around her wrist, digging their points into her flesh, causing surface damage. The heat produced from them served to cauterise the piercing wounds before the blood had a chance to flow. Again, the scent of burning flesh filled the air.
"You're so hurtful." She tried her best to force out a tear of sadness and paint, but nothing came out. "I come all the way to see you, and this is how I'm treated?" She had always thought herself as a good actress, maybe a be in one of those "movies" the humans always talk about seeing. The power cable had since fallen out of her hand, but she had no need for such a thing now anyway: the togabito had provided her with essentially the same thing. Wrapping the half melted flesh of her hands around the ribbons now embedded in her arm, the woman gave it a firm tug, pulling Leyla toward her self. Why do people always distance themselves from her? It's not like she bi.... Oh, wait.
She had tugged the ribbons harsh enough to force the girl's body well past her location, but as their bodies approached, Lyra extended the index finger of her bound hand to meet the other's figure, stopping it harshly from flying past where they were standing. Her digit met the middle of the girl's chest, slightly below her neckline with a rather loud thump as it pushed the soft layer of skin back upon her bones. She applied slightly more pressure on the finger as she brought her middle one step higher, walking her hand up the girl's neck then finally stopping once she'd reach the girl's chin then turned, facing her palm toward the sky. The melted flesh of her fingers were stained with charred skin and blood, at some parts the bone was nearly visible. "Sweetie, don't run, I don't bite...." Quite an obvious lie. The Sin opened up her hands, to cup the girl's face between her index and thumb, compared to her damaged, defiled skin the girl's felt like that of a newborn. "hard."
Saying such things always gets her appetite going. The woman's tongue peeked out from between her lips and made a long path covering their entirety. "Since you're being such a bad girl..." Her grip on the girl's cheeks would tighten, discouraging any movement as the woman leaned in closer and closer to the girl's delicate neck. "I'm going to personally teach you some manners." As she approached, her lips parted, revealing those sharp fangs which have been stained so many times with the crimson liquid. Killing Leyla would probably not go over well with Kira, but then again, teasing Kira was also quite fun. No, Lyra isn't unreasonable, she would simply teach the girl a little lesson -- and maybe relieve her of a few pints of blood and a few pounds of flesh. Aren't the kids nowadays all sensitive about their weight anyway?

| The last thing Leyla had been expecting was for her ribbons to actually make contacts with the sin, let alone be allowed to break skin and char flesh. Was she really just being used like a toy? Leyla did not appreciate that idea. With a sour face she covered her nose with her free hand once more. That smll of burning skin still wasn't a pleasant one. She wasn't into cannibal barbecues the same way Lyra was. Only one more thing that added to her disgust for Gluttony. Yet here that woman was, showing her up on so many levels. Just showing off how much better she was. And that was something that enraged the younger blonde even more. "I swear...." she said in a low, resounding voice. "I'm going to kill you-!" she had whipped her free arm out, revealing another dozen ribbons that sprouted from under her glove. They were twisting together forming some kind of lance like construct. However Leyla had been cut short in her threat. There was a pull from Lyra and the woman's strength was too much for her to fight back against. Leyla found herself off the ground, being pulled through the air by the sin before suddenly coming to a stop. The thud of her impact reached her ears just moments before the pain reached her mind. She let out a tiny gasp, grinding her teeth. She looked down and glared down at what had stopped her path. A finger. Just one single charred fnger was all it had taken. Leyla glared down, her vision slightly blurred with the start of what were tears of frustration. When that hand began to walk up her skin, Leyla outstretched her neck, making the path as long as it possibly could be. She looked elsewhere, not wanting to see that smile Lyra was wearing. Those gross feeling fingers were rough as they moved along her skin and the girl shivered. Not to mention when her hand closed around her cheeks. It was a sickening feel. She almost regretted burning that hand up even more. She could just see heated skin sticking to her own in the most disgusting way and she felt her stomach churn, an action on egged on by how close Lyra was getting. Then she opened her mouth and golden eyes could see those pointy teeth, no longer white after being tainted with so much blood. Leyla's entire body went stiff and she began to shiver, knowing how serious this was getting. Finally those tears slipped out of the corner of her eyes, even if it was just a few before she blinked them away. "L-Let go of me!" she shouted though with difficulty because of the grip on her cheeks. Her Ribbons came to life again. The ones wrapped around Lyra's arm began to tighten, set on turning her hand and forerm into nothing but cracked pieces. Her other ribbons that had yet to be used resumed taking on that drill-like shape, twisting together so they would be completely formed just before they reached Lyra, having been shooting her way, aiming for her stomach. Leyla hoped to at least make Lyra step back anf free her from her hand so she could flee. | |

| ((Your fast replies are making me feel bad!! T_T I shall try harder to meet your needs!))
"Kill me?" She gently moved the girl's face toward her own, forcing their eyes to meet again. Though only a tiny bead of tear escaped her eyelids before the girl had willed them away, it certainly did not escape Lyra's notice. Does this mean the girl was going to get serious? Was she really going to try and hurt Lyra? The Sin shivered at the thought — not in the same sense as the girl had shivered, no. The Sin shivered from the thought of how much fun they were going to have had the girl made up her mind to hurt her. Oh, the mere thought was enough to her her excited. "Is that a threat?" Lyra whispered softly in the girl's ear, Since she was so close already, the woman's tongue found its way out from between her lips. The tip slowly contacted the girl's delicate neck, just below her ear, running its slimy length up greeting her earlobe, caressing it, toying with it like she had been with the girl. "Or a promise?"
It was at this point she noticed the the ribbons around her arm getting tighter, reducing the blood flow to her right arm, making it slightly numb. Try as she may though, the ribbons would only compress her skin and muscle so far until they've reached her bone — strengthened by reiatsu, the ribbons just lacked the strength to turn them into dust as the girl intended. Nevertheless, she'd let the girl have her way, releasing the grip she had on her cheeks as an apparent reaction to the girl's force. "Sweetheart, you're hurting me..." The tightening sensation being sent through her arm cased her tremendous amounts of ecstasy, the ever present, increasing pain was so... arousing. "Don't stop." Her laughter was mixed with half a moan, not hiding back the fact she was absolutely enjoying every little bit of this.
During all this amusement, Lyra had almost completely forgotten about the other ribbons the girl had summoned, which now quickly approached her abdomen, aiming to pierce a rather large hole in the middle of her torso — oh no! With her free hand, she managed to grip the lance just after the tip had made contact with her skin, but before it had a chance to break the skin. Suddenly, her grip would loosen slightly, allowing the weapon to push just a tad further, penetrating the skin and muscle of her abdomen, causing some blood to trickle down the side of Leyla's weapon. The Sin's body suddenly tightened as her eyes widened and a gasp of feigned surprise left her lips. She was a good actress no? Just as fast as they came, her expressions were replaced by that wicked smile again.
Slowly, her body regained its fluidity, the woman relaxed her muscles once more, letting Leyla know that everything was, in fact, quite all right. "Oh..." Her gaze moved to the weapon embedded within her stomach, she made no attempt to remove it. No, removing it would mean the girl would be allowed the freedom of motion — and that just won't do at all! "I expected a dinner and a movie before you stick it inside me." In a fluid motion, she threw her right arm backward, brining the girl (whom was attached to it via her own ribbons) with her. This time, Lyra's chest collided with the girl's stopping her body from moving any further than she wanted to. Their faces would be close enough for the girl to feel her breath. "But you're such a cutie," She whispered, as she loosened her grip some more, allowing a few more millimetres of the weapon into her body. "You can come inside me any time."
As soon as the words exited her mouth, the woman moved her lips to the side of the girl's neck. The supple red lips of the Sin parted ways, revealing those sinister fangs of hers once more, the spot she had picked was the one still slightly moist from her tongue mere moments ago. She allowed the girl ample time to feel her hot breath over her delicate skin, "It's my turn."She finally took the plunge. Her teeth weren't nearly long enough to do any fatal damage — a limp corpse is not very fun to play with. No, the bite was merely intended to draw that sweet crimson liquid flowing through her veins. She could hardly wait. Let Lyra have a taste!

| OOC: There's no rush xD I always have other posts to do o.o "Its a promise you Hag" the girl barked, clearly full of energy from her growing anger. She didn't care if she was making an empty promise. She didn't care if she knew just how empty of a promise it was. She was far too enraged to even try to deny that killing Lyra would become a reality. "I'll kill you a dozen times over! Just you watch!" she scoffed, knowing it sounded like a load of crap spewing past her lips. She was getting caught up in the moment though and just wanted to have such a thought. How amusing it would be to kill Lyra over and over again, LEyla could give up singing and do that with the rest of her endless life and be pleased. "Dammit..." Leyla cursed under her breath when Lyra only seemed to be enjoying the pain she was trying to give her. It was frustrating beyond belief. But at least now her face was free. She began to take small steps back, allowing herself some space. She wanted to get away. No matter how much reiastu she put into her ribbons they just weren't breaking bones like she wanted them to. She didn't have a chance if Lyra could still move so easily. It seemed a burnt to a crisp hand was not enough to stop her. So as it was Leyla's chance of escape was dwindling. Her other attack could take care of things though... Yeah right. Lyra was still a sin. Such a thing was impossible. Even if Leyla's attack was fierce there was no way it was going to...Wait. Was that blood? "Huh...?" Leyla couldn't believe it herself. The sin was gasping, some blood dripping from her abdomen. She had landed that attack? It was only a small amount but...it didn't make sense. Leyla wore the same wide-eyed look Lyra did, her mouth hanging open slightly. What had just happened. Her body went lax, unsure of what was even real. Was she trapped in some kind of dream? Then it all became to clear. Lyra was toying with her. The smile she put on...that was Leyla's answer to the odd turn of events. She had let it happened. She became tense, her shoulders trembling even. If she wasn't angry before she was now. She was grinding her teeth, biting at her bottom lip at the same time which caused skin to break, a thin trail of blood escaping from the corner of her mouth. Her eyes were blazing, lost in the deadliest glare that had ever existed. She hated this woman. Hated her so much. Leyla didn't even fight being pulled toward the woman, not letting her glare break when she was suddenly chest to chest with Gluttony. "As if" she huffed in reply to Lyra's hurt feelings about being rushed. It made her stomach churn to even imagine the other meaning those words would typically have. She didn't let herself shudder though. She was done pleasing Lyra with such actions. She just watched as Lyra drew closer to her. A drop of sweat flowed down the side of her face though and her lips were now a nervous scowl, her teeth digging in more which cause more blood to flow. Then that bite of Lyra's finally came. Leyla let out a small gasp, fright clear in it. She forced herself not to tremble though, despite her fear of having a few chunks taken out of her. Lyra was in a good spot though.Just below her jaw was the ribbon Leyla kept tied around her neck, giving Leyla and idea. Hoping Lyra was distracted enough, the younger togabito made the ribbon untie itself silently before making one sharpened end of it shoot up, intent on piercing right through the underside of Lyra's chin, and right up to cut through her tongue, searing her mouth. If it hit, even if Lyra enjoys that pain, it would at least ruin the taste of her meal. In theory anyway. Leyla had an idea that Lyra didn't much care what her food tasted like anymore. In the meantime her ribbons uncoiled, freeing themselved from Lyra's hold before they move to wrap around her waist, trying to pull her away from their controller. | |

| The reports had not been lacking in truth, but not entirely were they free of falsities either. The town below was moving about as normal, people going through their everyday lives without a though to any great dangers falling upon them like a plague. Not but three streets over a women cursed the dumb bastards who now brought an ambulance through her traffic lane and ruined her morning by being so stupid as to crash into somebody else. Driving was so freaking simple why would that guy not know how to use the brakes damnit!
Many men and women held up by this sudden event were equally livid, unaware that in an instant the entire city block could be erradicated on a whim. That every concern they had from their morning coffee spilling into their laps to getting that expense report completed by the deadline meant absolutely nothing if one of the monsters on 35th street decided to get serious. Two figures, an initial response team of sorts made up entirely by pointing at the two poeple nearest to the gate at the time, took in the scene only three streets north of the current event and saw the true gravity of what they were walking into.
"This is Asao Asakobi, 5th Squad Liuetenant. I have Kazu with me. I will need backup as soon as it becomes available pronto. I'll engage directly to attempt to forestall anything deadlier them a skirmish. I estimate I can last," Asao quickly took in another street below him as he and Kazu sprinted across rooftops and the divides between them to look down on the streets below likewise packed with cars held up by the siren bearing police and fire department units moving to the scene. "about four minutes based on initial power signature estimates. Without knowing the state of the populace I cannot give a better idea. Signing off and engaging." The figures came to a halt now at the lip of the buildings looking down upon the squabbling energy signatures. A girl and what appeared to be an undead young women bleeding out everywhere surrounded by unconscious figures and as one officers car pulled up and came to a stop two unconscious police officers as they fell across the squad car and fell to the ground.
"Kazu, I'm going down. Your not from a fighting squadron so provide what support you can while staying hidden and gathering information." He glanced at the smallish women beside him as he drew his sword. "It's time to Deliver, Asauchi." He said, his presence entirely vanishing from spiritual sense as his weapon sucked it in whole. "Take as much info on them as you can, I won't doubt the idea I'll fail to make it home from this." He took a deep breathe, then jumped down sword held high above his head so that when he landed he could deliver a straight cut right down the middle of the already heavily injured women. Maybe he would get lucky, maybe she'd not be as powerful as he though, maybe sin's weren't so powerful.
And maybe my names Baconator the Mighty.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kazu followed close behind Asao. He was a bit faster then she was, well no a lot faster, but he was at least able to keep a pace she could handle. She had been at the gate not a moment before he had come back from another assignment picking up a specimen for her division when the call had come down that he was to return to the field to handle the latest intrusion by hells forces. He'd instinctively assigned himself an eye in the sky and grabbed her before throwing himself and her back into the gate. A rapid chase through the city later, Asao seeming to contemplate every city street he passed, and she collapsed exhausted as Asao decided finally to jump into the action. "Yes," He disappeared over the edge. "Sir....man I am not made for this." she said, peeking over the edge to do as she had been told. Take notes.
| The distinctive metallic taste of the crimson liquid of life flowed into her lips as her fangs dug ever deeper into the girl's neck, drawing out more and more of the liquid. Her lips formed around where her fangs entered, making sure not a single droplet of it was wasted, making sure every single bit of it was devoured. During all of this her tongue was given no rest, between her lips it danced, bouncing off the inside of her mouth between her teeth as she continually pushed it back and forth, stimulating more blood flow to the afflicted area — she was an artist. As the more and more liquid filled her mouth, she was overwhelming with ecstasy, the liquid acting as an aphrodisiac of sorts, providing her with some twisted sense of pleasure. And oh what pleasure... Her entire body shivered form the pure excitement of tasting it, the texture, the consistency, the way it flowed around her mouth, she couldn't get enough of it.
But like all good things, it would seem that this would have to end. She had thought the amount of reiatsu she was allowing to be sensed was enough of a deterrent for any stray spiritually aware being, but apparently this one had decided to interrupt their fun. Though he did a swell job on hiding his spiritual presence, nothing eluded the woman once it was near enough to be caught in her ever present, dreadful aura. As soon as the body entered her little personal bubble she knew they were no longer alone. And she was just starting to enjoy a little snack.
Perhaps it was about time to stop anyway, as the girl seemed to have some kind of objection towards being sucked dry. She noticed the ribbons around her neck slithering to life, rapidly approaching her, aiming to punch a hole through her mouth. Having a cavity as such would prove to be quite troublesome for the woman, how was she to enjoy her meal if it leaked out? Oh nono, that simply will not do.
As much as it pained her to do so, Lyra's jaw loosened, freeing the girl from her bite. She then quickly tilted her neck back, narrowly avoiding the sharp point of the ribbon — but not entirely. The point had managed to make a small cut on her cheek, taking with it some of the Sin's blood. Noticing this, her tongue quickly, and quite precisely, protruded to wipe the newly stained portion of her ribbon clean of her own blood. All of this of course happened in a matter of seconds. In the same motion, her back arched slightly, causing the Leyla's lance to withdraw from her torso, her grip around it tightened, preventing it from entering her again, now was not the time for that. In this arched position, the woman would tilt her head back to catch a glimpse of her (not as silent as he would have wished to be) assailant.
Now, to deal with this intruder. Unlike the girl, Lyra had no intention of toying with this one — no, he ruined her play time, and that deserves to be punished. Without loosening her grip on Leyla, the Sin spun on her feet, switching positions with the girl, watching as his blade came within mere centimetres of cutting the blonde — of course she wasn't going to let such a thing happen! Only Lyra gets that privilege. Before the blade could have a chance to split the girl in half, Gluttony would give the ground a swift kick, pulling Leyla along with herself away from the attacker, narrowly avoiding his strike that would have landed upon the girl.
When the dust settled, the woman stood, holding the girl close to her body, like a mother her child. "That could have been dangerous!" She called out to the unidentified being.
She took the chance to move in close to the girl, once more lips within breathing distance of the girl's ears. "Don't worry hon, I won't let him hurt you." The woman was acting like the heroine — why shouldn't she? She did just save Leyla's life, a little "thank you" would be appreciated. But of course, that act soon faded as the sides of her lips curled upwards, revealing that smile again. "You're all mine."
Perhaps this was a sign; perhaps she wasn't making it completely obvious that she did not want to be disturbed. In response to this new appearance, the woman decided to up the ante a bit. Without warning, the woman allowed enough of her reiatsu to flow out to cause quite a distinct change in pressure within their vicinity, enough to cause even the birds in the sky to fly at an alarmingly low altitude. Aside from her ever present aura slowly nibbling away at their reiatsu, the two would now probably have some difficulty breathing. If this wasn't a clear enough sign for the intruder to leave...
"Can't you see me and my little sister here are having a great time together?" Her voice was unusually stern, certainly not the taunting, playful one she had used with the girl. "I don't think she appreciates you ruining our fun." Her grip of the girl tightened to strengthen her act. " And I'm very protective of my dear Leyla."
| Leyla was far too focused biting back her quiet cries and whines to notice the arrival of two new presences. Her mind was being flooded with the pain in her neck. Not that blood loss was helping her cause. Much to her relief though her little maneuver served its purpose. That disgusting mouth freed her. Her blood still flowed, mixing with leftover salive but she didn't have to feel those lips anymore, or those teeth. She could still feel her warm, sick smelling breath but for now she was at a good place. She lifted her eyes to een see she had managed to cut the sin a little bit, pleased with herself for that even if she had to watch the unbearable woman drink up her own thin trail of blood. "Gross..." she uttered under her breath, letting her eyes fall, not suspecting the coming attack. Suddenly she was being spun around, her feet not really wanting to follow the quick movement. So she was practically dragged along, struggling with her thick heels to stay standing once Lyra had come to a stop. She felt something sweep by her and instantly her eyes grew wide and full of focus again. Her head shot up, in time to see a blade come close enough to trim the tips of her voluminous hair. A tiny gasp left her throat and she tensed. Where had that come from? Leyla wasn't given much time to think though. With Lyra's hold still as strong as ever, she was pulled with the woman as she leapt away. She found herself surounded by a dust cloud, only able to see Lyra at this point. Somehow she had gotten pulled even closer, in some kind of protective, or perhaps possessive, manner. And to be honest it made bile rise up in her throat. The sins blood from her attack were touching her, she could feel it seep into her clothes and how the warm liquid spread out further. And there was that burnt to a crisp hand. It was touching her, flesh on flesh once again. It was disgusting. When the debris began to spread out, Leyla looked over her shoulder, looking around for the newcomer. No sooner did she lay eyes on the shinigami did she suddenly feel the sin's breath on her ear. The girl shuddered, closing her eyes tightly. Screw seeing the enemy. Lyra was beginning to wear on her even more. She wasn't going to let some shinigami hurt her? Wasn't she the one who has just bitten a hole in her neck? Leyla opened her eyes just a crack, looking back to Gluttony with distaste. She sounded way too proud of herself. Leyla hardly wanted her help and she would be struck down before having the idea of even thinking of the words Thank you. Not for this woman. Then it became clear thats not what Lyra was after anyway. That smile was back and her next line did it in. Leyla had been saved for Lyra's own entertainment. Of course. There was a noticable change in the reiatsu let out from the sin. She had finally adjusted to the last increase and now she was hit with the new wave, struggling to get the air her body needed, especially now. Her mind became fuzzy again and her eyes showed it, becoming a bit dull. Without even realizing it she found herself leaning against Lyra for support she needed, though she would deny the action had ever taken place. "Tch. Fun?" Leyla giggled. Even in her daze she heard that. Despite being weakened she was still going to give the sin the attitude she had kept up all along. She even tilted her head up, giving a smirk to the sin that read as a mocking one. Though to be honest she was no more happy about the appearance of a shinigami than Lyra was. While she was glad to be briefly freed of all the sin's attention she was not fond of them. Not to mention she was dead set on getting out of this herself, to prove a point to Lyra. As one last act of defiance. Unless he was a weakling who would be cut down without effort it didn't seem like he'd just be gone and no longer be a problem. They never just left. | |
| Asao, as aware of his own weaknesses as anyone could be expected to know their strengths, was in no way truly startled by the woman avoiding his initial move. The wind alone from his fall would have been a notation for any worthy opponent. What did concern him was the game she made of avoiding it. A simple pair of steps forward would have left her entirely out of range and taken so much less time she could have spun about to counter him rather then dodge solely.
No this woman liked her games it seemed as she spun, putting the smaller form of her blood-letting victim in harms way. Taunting him with a new prize then yanking her back from his assault to insult him doubly for failing to strike not one but two separate targets. Failing to take not one but two targets would grate on him if he were a lesser man but fortunately that was his brothers department. He landed far more softly then one would imagine and held his sword out before him in a middle guard.
"Your great time, nor your fun are my concern. you are injuring alot of people by simply being here. I have no choice in the matter of letting you and even given one I could not allow it to continue." His spirit did not falter, or to the matter exist to be forced to do so, as her pressure increased pressed down harder on the world around them. No he did not even register it but for the sensation of alternate energy being pulled in by his sword as it flowed over and through him so fast he had no chance to notice it. "If I tell you a secret would you be willing to release your pressure from the world around us? I promise it to be an interesting secret. I'm sure your curious why I am still standing right?" He said, noting the effects on the captive woman who's hair he found fluttering into his face on a soft wind.
" I'll even give you two, one now and one if you drop the energy wall that's currently crushing the civilians around here. I cannot use kidou while my sword is released...A detrimant to my fighting style but it has it's advantages." His tone remained flat, no concern but no enjoyment for the situation present in it as he remained as absolutely motionless as a statue with his sword held before him.
All I must do is stall them, nothing more....but how did she sense me. I'm basically nothing in release. I'll have to test some theories here.
