But I'm more curious as to why Renji and Rukia are with Ichigo, especially since Renji just popped back up as if he wasn't wounded at all(when they made it seem like he was almost on the same scale as Byakuya or something..) o.o

Renji was not on the same scale as Byakuya. Ichigo said Renji would survive; Byakuya was said to be at the brink of death.

I actually like the SS part of this issue. Kyoraku sounded like a boss, Nanao is going to be VC of Soul Society, Kenpachi is going to be a real killing machine (maybe he'll even learn bankai and shunpo), and they reveal why Unohana is so feared yet wants to be a healer. I like I like.

They wouldn't have taken them if they thought he'd survive in SS is what I mean, but Kenpachi was on a totally worse scale than Renji and Rukia, so why didn't they take him too? Plot inconvenience?

Wasn't it said that she prefers fighting more than healing? Least that's what I've been hearing/seeing all over the place o.o

Actually, he was technically healable compared to everything that the captains sustained during the FKT arc. We don't really know what happened to Renji and Rukia.

I'm not too sure about that. I'd have to look back which I'm not willing to do that :/ Bleachwiki just says that the information book says she's an expert of kendo.

They got flung into buildings...Renji did o.o Rukia was knocked down or some shit...

I'd need to find proof myself...But all I know is I'm damn curious why she left her spot as Kenpachi, most obviously assumed is she got tired of the bloodshed.

Well, assuming nothing else happened to them like their reshi getting messed up because of contact with strong quincies or something, then yeah just plot convenience.

TBH, I'm actually surprised that Kyoraku is bringing Nanao with him to the first squad.

But on other things, I assumed Renji and Rukia were injured by the dude who stole senbonzakura. I mean, Renji was there when it was stolen, so it'd make sense, and I believe Rukia was there too. Not sure though.

Also, Massive WTF on that last page. I thought that Kyoraku was going to teach Kempachi, not UNOHANA.

Also, random realization. If I'm remembering correctly, both Unohana and Zaraki's Zanpaktos are no-dachis in sealed form. Both are Kempachis. Coincidence?

Kenpachi doesn't have a sealed zanpakuto, his is a constant release shikai.

Renji didn't get hit by Senbonzakura, he was flung by luchador Quincy into a building and Rukia was attacked by some other Quincy dude.

Is it? I don't remember it ever being said that it's a constant release. I must have missed it... anyone know the chapter it says that in? I'd like to confirm that.

And it is a nodachi, but that's its released/perma state.

I'm aware it says that on the wiki. I just don't fully trust the wiki, as well, it's a wiki. I just don't know if it ever says that in cannon. That's the issue.

I don't remember the chapter nor the episode but they point out that both Ichigo and Kenpachi have a constant release zanpakto. Also, I would highly recommend that, although it is a wiki, you should start trusting Bleach Wiki's main pages (main characters, kido, etc.) because they do track the changes and fix them.
