Maiari doesn't really seem to be all that much at first glance, a young woman who is all of five feet five inches tall, wearing the typical robes of an arrancar. Her hair is kept back and out of the way, and is decorated on the left side with the remains of her hollow mask, which take the form of a cross shaped hair ornament. Being fairly small, one might not expect it, but she is surprisingly fast and has an excellent sonido.

Bio: Maiari was born as the youngest of four children in a family which took great pride in being Quincies. She was trained to use her powers when she was very young, though she never actually saw a hollow, as her older siblings would kill any hollow that came close to them faster than she could see. So she grew up in a household that prided itself on being Quincies, training all the while. However, everything went to hell just after she turned 16.
She arrived home late one night, only to find her entire family dead and a soul reaper standing over her brother with a bloody blade. She had attempted to summon her bow, but was slashed from shoulder to hip and died before she could. When she awoke, the soul reaper was gone and she was alone. Terrified, she fled from the place, only to get attacked by a hollow, which she was unable to defeat.
Now a hollow herself, and even more terrified of her new hollow instincts, which she fought against. However, inevitably, she gave into her instincts and began to eat others hollows, becoming a gillian. She remained in this form for several years, slowly gaining control, desperate to escape from the torment of being a gillian. She devoured other gillians, hating it all the while but knowing this was the only way she could become strong enough to have her revenge on the soul reapers. But she was alone.
She finally burst through the sands as an adjuchas that appeared as a winged humanoid, appearing almost like a fallen angel with her dark wings and masked face. She was alone when she burst through the sands, something which she hated. Being alone was more terrifying than anything she had faced before. She knew she could not fight alone, but more than that, she wanted to have a family again.
So she traveled the desert of Hecco Mundo, searching for someone who would accept her and treat her as a friend. She eventually found someone in Lucas O'Cuinn, another Adjuchas who was much more powerful than her. From then on, Maiari followed him, acting almost as a shadow. Eventually they were found by the queen of Hecco Mundo and made arrancars. Maiari, as much less powerful than Lucas, became his Fraccion. She has attempted to stay out of things for now, but knows that if anyone threatens her new family, she will be forced to fight.


Zanpakutō


Name: Ángel Oscuro

Sealed form: A quiver and a bow that appears identical to the one she used when she was alive- A silvery bow with a thin blue line from the top to the bottom. She stores the bow in her quiver when she's not using it. The arrows the quiver holds are made from her own Spirit Energy.

Resurrección: Maiari holds her bow in front of her horizontally and calls out its command. The bow glows bright blue and releases blue light that envelops her. After a few moments wings burst out from the sphere of light which then fades revealing her Resurreccción form, which looks very Quincy-like. The remains of her mask becomes a circlet adorned with a blue gem in the front. She wears the same white robes she normally does, except the edges are blue as opposed to black and there is a blue cross on the chest. All the black on her outfit is replaced with Quincy blue, and the feathers of her wings are tipped with blue.

Call out phrase: Avenge

Ability: In her Resurrección, Maiari has the ability to create a bow made of blue spirit energy that appears very much like a Quincy bow, and appears to be very similar to a Quincy bow, but the arrows are actually made of her own spirt energy. Her speed improves and she is capable of totally unique ceros and balas. However, like her unreleased state, she has only ranged techniques.

Techniques:
Flecha de Luz: Fires a single arrow which then splits into four arrows that fly at their target from different angles.
Hierro Flecha: Fires a single arrow that has triple the power of one of her basic arrows.
Lluvia del Flecha: Maiari fires a single arrow upward at an angle, which splits into more than fifty arrows that rain down on her enemy.
