Weapon(s): He keeps with him a stock of throwing knives as well as a flickblade (the blade he uses must be slightly opened before the mechanics of it springs opens the blade - a switchblade will open on its own after the user presses a switch), it is a simple design and normal length with a brown handle.
Physical Appearance: He is a slim man who stands at 5'7" and has a consistent weight of 128lbs, his skin tone is slightly pale in appearance; He has short black hair which stops just at the base of his neck, his bags are parted and stop just slightly past his ears. His eyes are a reddish brown but in certain lighting can look just a normal brown color, he is most often seen wearing a confident and/or crafty expression making him come off rather arrogant. His usual attire is a simple black long sleeved, V neck t-shirt over which he wears a black hoodie jacket that is lined with a grayish white fur around the lining of the hoodie and wrists of the sleeves as well as around the base of the coat. Simple black pants and matching shoes complete the outfit. He has chosen to forgo the traditional garb of Quincy and sticks to his basic outfit at all times making many wonder if he actually owns a different change of clothes or not, though some minor differences can be noticed, like the coat he dons will be slightly longer and the fur will look more stained with a chocolate brown color. Though for the most part he never truly changes his appearance and has no interest in the current fashion trends, his look making him blend into crowds easily. The only accessories he wears are two basic silver colored rings around each index finger.
Personality: Izaya is cunning and charming as well as highly intelligent, but he's not very interested in women and women are not interested in him; Only charming to get close to people so he can later use them as he pleases. He has a very jolly and mocking personality, speaking informally with most people as if they are close friends and often using nicknames for people even if he's just met them.
By the definition of the word he is a sociopath, lacking the basic ability to care about anyone other than himself and will lie in order to get whatever it is he is after. Though he claims he 'loves' every one, except for one person, it is not love in the typical sense, rather he enjoys watching people and will often set them up in horrific situations simply so he can observe how they will react. With a thorough understanding of human behavior and tendencies, he is able to determine people's thoughts and predict their reactions with high accuracy.
Despite the history of his race he bares no true ill will to the Shinigami, in fact they are part of the large group of beings he 'loves'. Also, it seems as though Izaya does not truly care to take up the duty of hollow slaying as he finds people watching a better use of his time, though if it is beneficial to him he may engage in a battle against one but for the most part he leaves the hollow slaying to the substitute. However whenever he is extraordinarily bored he will use the hollow bait he carries just to watch those who protect the town rush about.
Bio: Up until middle school, Izaya was a model student: the vice president of the elementary student council, the star at sports meetings, and winning independent research awards, poetry awards, slogan awards, and participated in essay contests. This combined with his good looks and a respectable family made him well known, especially with his girl classmates. However, Izaya was not particularly loved or hated since he went through school life in a withdrawn state, preferring to observe everything from afar, carrying out his life philosophy to be 'neither too close nor too far' from the others.
During afternoon breaks and such, other students would talk in the classroom or play in the courtyard, but since Izaya would always be in the library, he gave people the impression that he was a loner. But Izaya enjoyed being a step away from his surroundings. He knew he was a top student, however, he didn't think the people around him were idiots and didn't look down on them.
Eventually his father began training him in his Quincy abilities in secret, though the young man did not seem to take interest in the activity at first eventually he figured he might need these skills for self preservation and became more into the training, as he got older and he began changing he lost interest in his Quincy duties and decided to become a people watcher instead, eventually he became an underground informant to any and all who asked; Even spiritually aware beings.
He had a run in with the leader of an organization called The Family while he was out partaking in his favorite hobby of people watching, apparently Izaya hadn't been paying attention to his reiatsu and this man, Sora, had felt it and confronted him. It wasn't a violent confrontation, but it was a persistent one as Sora kept trying to recruit him. Izaya passed and was finally able to get away when he broke a disk of hollow bait as a distraction, since then he'll often stalk Sora when he's bored to see what the man has been up to.
One day while he was going about his people watching he came across someone who deeply piqued his interest, an Arrancar who was stealing snack cakes from a local bakery he happened to be passing by, curious he went up to and confronted the Arrancar only to be met with hostility as he teased her about her little obsession. After awhile of talking Izaya decided he could perhaps use this woman for information.
Though he knew he could not just simply ask outright, so instead he made her a deal she would find hard to refuse; he would supply her with her favorite sweets if she would give him information. By now she was already hooked on them like a drug, so she agreed, despite her loyalty to her Queen; now every time something new happens in Hueco Mundo Maya pays visit to the man she's learned is named Izaya, and gives him the scoop.
On her last trip to the human world Maya met up with Izaya at their usual meeting spot, which is a secret spot somewhere near the river, and told him of the coming hunt by the Espada; however she seemed to be a bit vague with some details(such as how many Espada/Arrancar had left to hunt and how many had been captured so far). This did not seem to matter too much to Izaya and he paid her as promised.
Type of bow: Longbow, manifests itself into something similar of a spiderweb like design with a medium diameter. In the center of the web like bow sits the design of his Quincy Cross.
Quincy cross description: Takes the design of a Triple Horn of Odin which is a stylized emblem of the Norse God Odin/Woden. This symbol consists of three interlocked drinking horns which form a sort of triangle, he wears it around his left wrist as a bracelet.
Quincy items: The only Qunicy item Izaya carries is a small black pouch filled with disk shaped pellets of hollow bait.
