They are here, and they are among us. Mutants. The next step in human evolution.

Once they were nothing but urban legend and myth amongst humankind, but in the year 2001 two men changed that when they revealed the presence and existence of mutants to the entire world. Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr brought forth a new era in the history of humankind, forever changing how both humans and mutants saw and interacted with the world around them.

While many were quick to seek to learn and understand these mutants with compassion and friendship, others through fear or misunderstanding chose the road of hatred and desired to eradicate that which was different from them. Hate groups sprung up all over the world on both sides. Will humans and mutants ever be able to co-exist?

Academy X is an Alternate Universe X-Men board that draws inspiration from all forms of X-Men and Marvel Media. We accept Canons and OC's for our various affiliation groups, including X-Men, New X-Men, the Brotherhood, New Mutants, the Hellfire Club, Hellions, MRD, Purifiers, New Warriors, and Morlocks, or you can remain Unaffiliated. We're an active site with an expanding storyline that keeps moving in new and fun directions!
