But seriously, yeah, Veer Union's a pretty BA band, and another of my own favorite bands is Sixx:A.M. Got turned onto them after reading the autobiography written by Nikki Sixx. (Bassist for Motley Crue.) I'd definitely recommend them to anyone here, along with the autobiography itself. Never heard of anybody injecting heroine into their yahoo just to get their fix, but it's believable. Lol

Ignaeon: That song by Chris Cornell. Ftw. One of his best ones, in my opinion. (Off of his solo work, at least.)

new country does indeed suck (it's just pop rock with a southern drawl and stereotypically necessary instruments), but old country is alright for ambiance (most of them don't even drawl).

i can't stand country. southern rock is standable but thats probably only cause i've been forced to listen to it for 3 years at work x.X now BLUEGRASS is some god awful suicide music xwx

I used to love ETR... but right now I'm more into dubstep and trance. O.o I go through music phases. xD

Oh, here's a scientific study I read not too long ago about country and suicide.

"Country music is hypothesized to nurture a suicidal mood through its concerns with problems common in the suicidal population, such as marital discord, alcohol abuse, and alienation from work. The results of a multiple regression analysis of 49 metropolitan areas show that the greater the airtime devoted to country music, the greater the white suicide rate. The effect is independent of divorce, southernness, poverty, and gun availability. The existence of a country music subculture is thought to reinforce the link between country music and suicide. Our model explains 51% of the variance in urban white suicide rates.”
