Character sheet RPC's:
| Subject: Maurino Hallsworthy Fri Feb 01, 2013 7:37 pm | |
| Name: Maurino Hallsworthy Nickname: Either "Mad Hatter", "Hatter", or "Mr. Wonderland" Also, he can be called "Maury" as a parody. Age: Technically, 79. 17 due to being in "Wonderland" for 62 years. Gender: Male Weapon(s): Fullbringer: "Wonderland" and "Rabbit's Hole" (two-part, one whole fullbringer), A dagger attached to three 30-feet-worth wheels of flexible metal wire, and a flail with a pocket-watch-designed object attached to a chain. Him being too sexy. Personality: Maurino Hallsworthy always suffered from psychosis, believing there had been more than one world and always thinking they were apart of the mortal world. Aside from the actually existing hollows, he always saw a rabbit running around with white, fluorescent hair, big red eyes, a fur-ball tail, a red vest and a rusted watch. Always finding himself caught up in foreign areas. The constant trouble he puts himself in just to chase one simple rabbit. This delusional sighting of a formally dressed rabbit caused concern for his parents. Eventually, to cope with his psychosis he started reading several version of Alice in Wonderland, having items crafted to represent the world created by Carroll's story. One item he developed a strong bond with, his top hat. He developed separation anxiety over his hat, never wanting it to permanently be gone from him or be gone from him too long. Aside from his psychological problems, he is very analytic but ironically a risk-taker to some degree. He jumps between caution and risk-taking often, if he believes the circumstance is not too drastic. He is shown as a straight-forward fan of dark comedy and flamboyantly a user of dark allusions. He is truly kind-hearted, but there is difficulty pushing past his homicidal tendencies and sadistic nature. Death isn't a burden usually, except for certain circumstances. Physical Appearance: Maurino stands at 6'3" with an average weight of 165 and muscle mass of a fragile person. Though his appearance hasn't mattered due to his time in Wonderland. He has jet-black hair, a broad jaw and slightly elongated nose. His ears are large and his eyes are almost perfectly round. His eyes are a sky blue with usually tiny pupils. His attire consists of a pianist's suit and leather, steal-tipped, business shoes. He wears white gloves with a picture of a rabbit wearing a top hat on the back of the gloves. His paints are vertically stripped and he wears a checkered tie. His top hat is completely black with a red and black checkered cloth at the base wrapping around. Protruding from the cloth is an ace of clubs. Bio: Maurino Hallsworthy, a boy of many mental problems, was born into the life of hatred and recession. No matter where he went he hated someone or the other way around. No one felt any kindness to him usually, mostly because of his insistence there is a white rabbit he must follow. Not only did he give his full attention to the rabbit, he also had social problems such as insecurity, ignorance, unappreciative mindset, selfish, self-centered, etc. These were all problems until he reached 15, which he experienced more than just a glimpse at the rabbit. He started experiencing even more serious delusions. But at the same time, he noticed a dark presence, the hollow. Not long after beginning his ever growing knowledge of the presence of the supernatural, he began entering arguements with his mother. Always with the "fuck-yous" and the " I hate you". His mother treated him badly after his father died a few years back, causing him to be mentally and emotionally damaged even further. She threatened many times that she would send him to military school, where he responded with yelling and screaming the quote "Off with her head!". The repetitive words along with the lunatic tantrums crafted a fear inside his mother, a fear that has never existed in such form. In one last argument, Maurino jumped off the edge and struck his mother. He continued to beat his mother, eventually throwing her on the ground. In his final words to her, he whispered in her ear, "Sentence first, verdict later...Bitch," before strangling the life out of her. If one listened closely, crunching noises could be clearly heard. Due to the strength of his grip, he snapped her neck unintentionally instead of suffocating her. Her lifeless body made him realize what he did and he grabbed his hat, realizing that it was his mother that made the existence of his favorite hat possible. He took several steps back, soon noticing the dark dust forming on the bottom of his hat. Trying to touch it, he black out suddenly. Awaking in a strange, colorful place, he was met by a bright white rabbit. This was the same rabbit he saw all of his life. For next several decades, he formed bonds with all characters of Wonderland except the absent Mad Hatter and Alice. He created himself as their Hatter, learning the art from experience. The one thing he noticed was the lack of aging, wondering if it was all a delusion. He decided to train himself due to the oppression he received from the Red Queen. The Knave constantly harassed him with threats of killing or handicapping him. Some insults involve dismembering in a vulgar way. After decades of not being able to age, he finally discovered why he was trapped within the world. Wonderland had been his world, a world crafted from his mind. This would be known as a his fullbringer and he would escape using his ability to use his hat as a rabbit hole between where he entered and Wonderland. Upon returning to the Mortal world, he was met by a new family. One that was frightened to death by the magical appearance of the boy. He appeared no older than 17, but he was infact 77. For the next two years, he spent his time studying the world as it was, wondering if he really should have left Wonderland. FullbringName: Wonderland/Rabbit Hole Item: Maurino's Top Hat. Appearance: The appearance of the top hat was explained. "Wonderland" is the world that the top hat acts as a "Rabbit Hole" to. Wonderland is exactly as the story had described it, but only due to the fact it was shaped by Maurino's supposed psychosis when his fullbringer formed. The regions and character existence, aside from Alice's existence and the Mad Hatter's, remained. The only noticeable difference is that within the forest there is a cave that leads to Maurino's domicile. The domicile is simply five, large rooms. Two are bedrooms, one of the bedrooms being the master room, one is a training room, one is a kitchen, and the other is a bathroom. Within the Wonderland there is a spring-like place that contains a over-abundance of a shadow dust. This shadow dust is used to activate the "Rabbit" Hole and may be summoned by Maurino. Ability: Wonderland acts as a universe developed due to Maurino's psychosis. He can transition from it and only the world he was previously in. Wonderland is not capable of being manipulated to a macro degree, only minor changes may be made. He may send things into Wonderland and "reject" them, causing them to be launched from the hole it entered. The only constantly open Rabbit Hole is the one inside his top hat. Other than that, he may summon a shadow dust from Wonderland to manifest portals and use it for other abilities. Wonderland moves at a random amount of time relative to the world, so nothing truly ages within it. With Rabbit Hole, Maurino may summon "Rabbit Holes" or gateways into Wonderland. Through techniques, he can use his hat and a placed "Rabbit Hole" to change where the two go. If he enters a Rabbit Hole with his hat, the Rabbit Hole closes and he is randomly sent somewhere random within a chosen radius. This may prove to be hazardous, except for when he exits Wonderland. Techniques: Rabbit Hole- Portable Rabbit Hole: Maurino may summon the dust to create a rabbit hole whilst activating his hat as another rabbit hole. This allows the passage from one rabbit hole to the other. If entered with the hat in hand, he is randomly sent to a location within a given radius.
- Thousand-Kilo Gate: Expanding his hat to the with of 1/16 of a mile and 100 feet tall, Maurino also causes it to make it as a hard as steel. The hat then weighs one thousand kilos and will drop upon expanding. Before expanding, he throws it into the air high enough for it not to hit Maurino, so he can safely use it as an escape. After it lands on a surface it will not budge and the rabbit hole will be closed until Maurino retrieves his hat. This means he cannot use his Portable Rabbit Hole. 5 post cooldown.
- Mighty Magic Maze (Root): Aiming his hat above his head, several hats of the same exact look fire out into the air, raining down. Afterwards, he throws his hat into this rain of hats, allowing it to get lost. Whilst the hat is within the rain of the hat, its presence is hidden. If Maurino stands under the hats he can use a follow-up ability. 4 post cooldown.
-Might Magic Maze: Mighty Magic Cylinder Maze: Maurino May scatter the hats, which would levitate and widen to the size of a human. Connection to Wonderland is cut for 4 posts and each and every hat becomes a rabbit hole. This creates a rabbit hole maze, as the hats cannot be moved, even by Maurino. The maze forms a spherical shape, even being in the way of going up or down. May be used once the root skill cooldown.
Mighty Magic Cylinder Maze Alt.: Maurino's alternative form of the technique is that the hats spin around in a linear function, though the number of them and how they are identical makes it more difficult to notice. In order to avoid entering one of the rabbit holes, People have dodge them.
-Mighty Magic Maze: Disappearing Act: Maurino may set the hats in a pattern in which he will constantly move through the hats in order to escape. The hats may only spread out to 30 feet from his original location. This may be used once every 3 uses of Mighty Magic maze (Not restricted to one topic). In the fashion he goes between hats is dependent on his Hoho (-2 points).
-Mighty Magic Maze: Riddling Cards: Producing from each hat during the actual Mighty Magic Maze, cards of varying numbers and factions, even further tightening space and acting as cover. This may also be used against Maurino to sneak up on him.
- Summon: Jabberwocky's Tooth: From Maurino's hat, he can pull out a green sword that has runes engraves into the handle and blade. Its guard is shaped as bat wings and the pommel is literally a dragon tooth. The edge of the blade is made of dragon bone, representing the slain Jabberwocky.
- Summon: Times a Toddler: Maurino summons his pocket-watch flail, which has the ability of a few according techniques. It may wrap around someone and himself to visit a memory if they are in Wonderland. Within this memory, it can either be Maurino's or the other's, but the two are almost non-existent, unable to make changes. This is a sub-ability to Times a Toddler, called "2 Days Late".
-Slow: Before striking an enemy, the watch part of the flail may stop and open, the hands of the watch moving furiously then slowing down tremensely, afterwards a burst of energy will emit and dampen the nervous system, causing reaction speed to be reduced. 7 post cooldown, 3 post duration.
-Haste: As with Slow, this opens up but the hands move slow, proceeding to speed up furiously. Energy bursts out, causing the nervous system to enhance, enhancing reaction speed. 7 post cooldown, 3 post duration.
-Halt: The clock opens and immediately fires an energy that expels potential and kinetic energy, causing accelerating objects or people to halt in place. 7 post cooldown.
Wonderland- Mighty Magic Movement: Maurino may gather the dark dust around his feet and move in a burst of speed that is equal to 3 points more than his Hoho speed. Afterwards he cannot use the dark dust, which is used to activate all of his abilities. The disability lasts for 4 posts and the cooldown is 5.
- Mighty Magic Maelstrom: Maurino scatters his dark dust within a 50 foot radius. The dust then forms a sandstorm movement, whirling around and inflicting damage upon the enemy if they are within range. This has a 4 post cooldown, if the Finisher addition is used, it has a once-a-topic use.
-Finisher: Maurino launches the foe into the air using the sandstorm made from the dark dust, condensing all the dust into a ball, he moves it around in a wild motion to attack the foe. He may control how it moves. Once he slams the enemy on the ground, he would fire the ball like a bullet, crushing the foes head. The ball would explode upon contact, engulfing the foe and then appearing to collect in one area. Though this is just the dust entering a tiny rabbit hole it uses to return to Wonderland. NOTE: THIS IS ONLY USED TO FINISH OFF AN ENEMY THAT IS EITHER NPC OR OC WHO HAS LOST AND GIVES THE PERMISSION FOR THEM TO BE KILLED.
- Mighty Magic Dust: Maurino may manipulate his dark dust to shape structures for 6 posts. The structures may be moved around by just a swift motion of his arms. This has a 10 post cool down.
Role-play sample: - Spoiler:
"I can't explain myself, sir, because I am not myself you see..." Maurino spoke the very lines Alice spoke, holding the very book she was created from. These words, directed towards an officer who had been curiously hammering him with questions, only agitated the policemen. In repetition, he asked the same question but requested in a rude manner that Maurino be serious. " But I did officer, I did answer you in complete seriousness." he said, but in his mind he only laughed, thinking to himself Does he realize that I quoted a story? A child's story?. The officer pushed Maurino against the side of a building, placing cuffs on his right hand, trying for the left. Before he could do so, Maurino kicked the officer, waving in the form of twiddling his fingers, a purplish-black dust emitting from his sleeve. He whipped his arms back words and down, releasing mass amounts of the dust. This dust formed a dark pool that thickened up and fixated. Dropping backwards, he fell through the pool of fixated dust. The dust itself collected in the middle, shrinking instead of becoming a mass pile until it eventually disappeared.
In a colorful world of oddities, Maurino landed, on one of the roads riddled by hearts and random numbers. A sign next to him said "Queen's Road", alarming him and causing him to run off into a field. A distant sound of clanking metal arose, causing even more alarm. Eventually, through his dashing he reached a pathway into the woods. The clanking seemed to have come closer to him than he hoped for, causing him to continue sprinting, entering the path into the woods. Not far into the woods, he reached a six-way fork (not including where he came from). Taking a random path he was only met by an abrupt clearing that also resulted in a dead-end. Fifteen red knights surrounded him moments later, demanding that he explain his presence. " Why, Sight-seeing." his response caused the red knights to point their spears in his direction. In a quick motion, he jumped on top of one of the spears, grabbing the head of one of the knights and ripping it off. " HAHA! You're nothing but a pack of cards!" he taunted the other knights, their bodies consisting of cards and stick-figure limbs.
Taking the spear from the knight, he tossed it like a javelin into the head of another knight, only to be met by three knights lancing at him. Though he did slay two knights, his focus was not on triumph, but on avoiding the thrusts and lunges of heart-shaped blades from the spears of the knights. The first lunge was brought up above his head, causing him to react by ducking. This allowed the other knights to attempt to impale his abdomen. Though the difficulty was reduced, they still failed due to Maurino gripping the blades. Disarming the two low-blowing knights, the tripped them up, spinning the stunted spears in his hands, impaling the first attacking knight and slamming him on the ground after tossing him over Maurino's shoulder. Pulled the pike from the red knight, he cut the throats of the other two, spinning around and throwing each like a javelin. Felling two more knights, it seemed as if the last eight had grouped together. They surrounded Maurino in a tight circle, locking him in a difficult position. Dark dust collected around his feet, allowing him to use his Mighty Magic Movement to move upwards in a burst of pressure. He formed a pinball movement and escape the circle and entering the path leading out of the clearing. He was forced to run from the red knights, not being in his own element and being incapable of summoning his Wabbajack Tooth.
In a playful dash, he entered a completely random path, discovering a crossroad. Turning right, he made his way to his cave within Wonderland. He had hoped to have avoided the knights, even though he was only 15 minutes into the forest. Thankfully, it is easy for people to get lost, confusing most-including him. In a turn of events, he say elite knights surrounding the clearing his cave was hidden in. They instantly adverted their attention from curious searching to Maurino. They wielded greatswords instead of pikes and their body was armored with scale mail. They walked slowly towards him, causing a feeling of fear to jolt quickly through his body. He tried summoning his dust but the Might Magic Movement still handicapped his use of it. He remembered how time moved randomly, so he could not obtain the dust as quickly as he wanted. The knights lunged at him with their mighty large swords. Jumping on top of one of the blades, he quickly kicked and snapped the neck of one of the knights. He flung his leg the other direction, killing another knight. There was an estimated five elite knights remaining, the other, regular knights not even nearing.
He kept dodging the sloppy swings, wondering how they could possibly be considered elite. Once the ability to summon the dust returned, he quickly spun around, releasing it into the air. With a snap of his finger, the dust whirled around him, acting as a miniature sandstorm. The sandstorm, Mighty Magic Maelstrom, knocked each knight off balance. Raising the dust, the knights were launching into the air as Maurino snapped his fingers once more. The dust collected into a condense ball, Maurino flailing his hand around and slamming it into the airborne knights. Leaving them in a groggy state, he finished three of them with the ball smashing down on their heads. He dropped it by the last two, walking away and snapping his fingers. The ball imploded, then exploded with a dark mist that enveloped the knights, shrinking down to nothing and revealing the knights have disappeared. The Knave of Hearts appeared before Maurino before he could leave the scene. " Mr. Hatter, you know you don't have permission to enter this part of Wonderland. I mustn't ask why you are here, just stay away from the Queen's abode. Or else." the Knave warned the fullbringer.
" I mustn't taunt further, but...Oh my ears and whiskers, how it's getting late. I must depart now, Knave." Maurino cut off the Knave from speaking further, creating his "Rabbit Hole" and leaving Wonderland. He entered the real world, only to arrive at a deserted island surrounded by water. " It would be so nice if something made sense for a change." Maurino said the quote about his own ability, something he unconsciously designed.

| Techniques cannot modify stats of anyone; whether it be self or opponent. Those techniques will have to be removed, but other than that, this looks fine. | |

| Fixed. I made it so they didn't affect the stats but I changed them so they affect something natural. If that is still bad, then I am fine with removing them completely. | |

| What can I get? xD.
I was hoping to go for ADV-2 or 1, at the most 0 but I highly doubt I will. I also would much prefer 2 or 1 as the medium since I am a rogue, I don't want anything higher than 1 but if it is quality (which I doubt it is good enough for anything higher) I would. If I was joining a faction, I would have went for something different. The reason I am going for a higher rank is, like I said, this character is going to be freelance/rogue.

| Well, we usually discourage rogues starting out higher than ADV-3, but this is good enough to get ADV-2, so I'll give you that. | |

| I added the points,
I apologize for doing such. I always saw rogue characters as a kind of bullied kind. In most Bleach sites I've been in they die if they aren't strong. I, too, was killed because I just started off and it was before the era of tag implementation. If you remember how they used to have a lot of early deaths.

| Well it's probably because people want to see positions filled, and when people make rogues, it rarely contributes to the overall story. Of course, that isn't a huge problem here.
Anyway, moving this to accepted.

Doctor is the member of the month. Ever since he joined, he's been extremely active, and really knows how to get things moving plot-wise. He was recently promoted to staff as well, and so far has shown great enthusiasm. He's also a friendly presence in the c-box, which is never a bad thing.
Gray is character of the month. Apparently one of the more popular characters on the site, well-known for his habit of stripping, which isn't good enough for Ulqui, but seems to do the job for his numerous IC fangirls. Has also earned (EARNED, not bought) numerous stat points in the past few months. Side note: Anyone who speaks of a gilf pairing will be shot on sight. :U |
