Their targets are often people who have escaped the law, and cannot be taken down by normal means. The Code: Numbers do not answer to the law, and therefore much of what they do and who they kill goes unnoticed. However the lives of Code: Numbers are a sad one. They are not allowed to be known to the world. They hold false names, and give up all ties to their families. Often their family believes them dead or missing. They are not allowed to live a normal life. Also the majority of Code: Numbers die early. This is because of the double sword that rules all with special powers."
