| Rou had gotten as far as she could form the two shinigami she had previously been engaged with. By now her steps were becoming slightly faltered as she darted through the thick woods. Her right leg had several deep gashes in it, causing her to be handicapped with a limp. Not only that but her abdomen was nearly pierced straight through, a heavily bleeding wound left in the wake of a fang of the red haired man's bankai. He had stepped in just as the battle was getting started. If not for the second man, the espada was sure she could have completed her mission. Everything happened for a reason though. Now they had become fair excuses of true enemies. For now she would have to heal, then she could face them once again with new power from unknown origins and defeat them both in a heroic act. And healing first was the main focus for the moment. Rou finally felt her beaten leg give into the weakness as she tripped over a high root that sent her flying, stabbing a lance into the forest floor she propelled herself over it in a flip with the momentum from what would have been a fall. Once in the air, her hand found a thick branch and with the remainder of her strength pulled herself up to sit upon it. Instantly she fell back, hitting the trunk of the tree with an exhausted sigh. That same moment her body gave off a light golden glow and as it faded away so did all the traces of her released resureccion. With the smiling mask gone it was easy to see her small grimace of pain. She lightly touched her wound, feeling something warm on her hand and not needing to look down to see what that liquid was. "If The Flourist wasn't such an evil man he would have seen why he should have just come along in the first place without any questions" she huffed, pursing her lips. Byakuya really had become an enemy, getting his own villlian name and everything, even if that name wasn't exactly all that terrifying. But he alone was really a scary guy. She could take him. No problem! That's what she had been telling herself at least. And that was most certainly what she was going to keep believing and telling ever one. If it hadn't been for Captain Crimson of the dreaded Snake Forces she would have gotten out of there without a problem, toting a defeated Byakuya along with her to Hueco Mundo so she could prove herself to everyone as the hero she was. "Stupid Captain Crimson" she whined. "I'm gonna beat his big spikey head so hard next time!" she kicked her legs in her pouting which caused her to hiss in discomfort as her injuried raked across the rough bark of the branch. There was the matter of getting to that point though. Even for an arrancar a wound like hers would take a good while to close up if not aided. It certainly wouldn't kill her. Not unless there were some mean kappas around. She knew they were from this country and that they lived out in the woods, much like this one. A whole lot of them could show up and take advantage of her state. As if they would stand a chance. She'd peel that green skin right off of them. No one gets the better of the hero of this story! No one! Not a single being was going to sneak up on her, no matter how skilled they were. | |

| A Garganta opened up in the center of the forest, give or take a couple kilometers. A tall man walked out of it, his golden eyes scrying over the forest. The black rift closed behind him, the force sending his coat rippling like a gust of wind has hit it. He blinked for the first time in the human world, his eyes remaining shut as gloved right hand found sanctuary at the back of his neck. There was a faint, but strong spiritual pressure in the air. It suddenly vanished, before he could decide what the being was. It was familiar, but that didn't mean much. He knew the general direction, and decided to head that way. Whatever he finds, will definitely be fun.
The air was still as he traveled towards the source, the forest below full of life as its various inhabitants went on their daily lives, undisturbed by the near completely masked spiritual pressure of the Sexto Espada. Not only that, Raijin hardly made a sound. The only non-natural sound he made was that of his loose chains sliding against his coat, and his zanpakuto hitting his right leg as he moved it. He didn't have too much longer to go, as he glided along the tree tops. He was close, not even a kilometer away anymore.
Raijin slowed his pace, as he picked up the scent of fresh blood, and the heat radiating from something bigger than a fox, something the size of a human. Not only that, but something with a large spiritual pressure. He was dumbfounded he didn't pick up on it earlier. It wasn't as strong as the one before, but it had the same frequency, the same definite taste about it. He stopped. The being was about 20 yards in front of him, sitting on a branch. He approached slowly, making sure his spiritual pressure was practically hidden. He peeked out of a tree, a few yards south and above the other Espada, finally noticing it was a girl. A girl that was wounded. Not only that, but a fellow Arrancar. He couldn't really get a good look at her face, or really her body.
He sat there and though for a moment, before deciding it would be best to sneak up on her. He moved quietly to be directly behind the girl, but a few yards away. He then lowered himself on a nearby tree, descending until he was near the girl, before jumping onto a branch next to her. The branch gave way under Raijin's feet, as he gave out a shout before reaching out for a nearby branch, finding nothing as he began his plummet.

| Rou was far too busy looking out for kappas to notice when a garganta opened up in the sky some distance away. Nor did she realize that it was a familiar presence. Her eyes were set on the ground, not paying any mind to what was behind her. "I wonder when those no good greenies will show up" she murmured, brushing her bloody hand back through her hair only making it dirtier than it usually was. The espada narrowed her eyes, not looking all that happy about the sneak attack she was expecting. The girl leaned over, hissing a bit as her wound was irritated, but she needed a better look at the ground. Now on her hands and knees she lowered herself down some, looking around and not seeing much of anything. Suddenly a shadow formed over her and she instantly straightened up, sitting up on her knees and she quickly turned. Though her hair got in the way of seeing it, her eyes were wide, filled with surprise. She was expecting to see a giant green skinned monster standing on the branch eside her. But that wasn't right. That wasn't a Kappa. Instead it was....well she didn't get the time to look at it before the limb snapped right under they other being and left him to fall to the forest floor. "Eh?! what was that?!" she shouted in sync with Raijin's scream. She saw a hand reach out for someting and instantly flinched away, back against the tree as she waited to hear the thud as whatever it was hit the ground. When she did hear that she cautiously poked her head out over the branch, looking down at the male. She noticed he was another arrancar as well as some thick black waving hair and a familiar outfit. That's when she noticed that his energy was also familiar. With the realization her face lit up and she propelled herself forward, nearly falling over the branch herself had her hands not caught her just in time. "Neh!!! Is that you, Seaweed Head?!" she cheered, waving her hand out for him to see. She gave a big grin, giggling to herself. Hair cascaded all around her, the coloring and messiness of it making it clear who she was. Not another arrancar could match her locks. Her grin faded a bit as she thought for a moment, shifting into a pout. "Hey Seaweed!" she called down with a rather accusing tone. "What were you doing sneaking up on me like that you meanie?! Its not polite!" she balled her hand up into a fist, waving it around in a threatening manner. "If i wasn't saving my energy for the Kappas i'd come and beat you up!" she yelled, sitting back on the branch and crossing her arms across her chest as she turned up her nose to the man down below. | |

| Finding nothing to grip onto, the arrancar fell from the trees onto the ground below. There was a heavy thud when he landed, the force rippling out through his body, motionless due to the impact. Raijin laid like that for a bit, before letting out a groan to simply signal that he was still alive. That was when he heard HER voice. He figured it was Rou, but wasn't sure until now. Of course, this meant that he would be called that asinine nickname she decided to give him. Not only that, but it meant that a friend didn't even offer him a hand as he was falling.
He opened his eyes just in time to see the clumsy girl catch herself from nearly falling off due to sheer excitement. He sighed once more, knowing what was going to come next. He sat up, looking up at the familiar crazy sight, but this time quite dirty, and perhaps even wounded. "yeah, it's me, Thunder Thighs" he called up towards the girl, obviously annoyed not only be the nickname, but by the fact she didn't even offer him a hand as he fell. If she would have, his back wouldn't be so sore, and his coat wouldn't be covered with dirt and mud. "You could have, you know, actually helped me out instead of letting me fall" He called out to her.
Raijin started stretch slightly, starting to ascend the tree. Hopefully he wouldn't fall this time. He heard that stupid nickname once again, getting more annoyed at his fellow Espada. "You looked like you were concentrating for once, it was to teach you a lesson!" He shouted above him, starting to near the heroine was on. He was almost there, just a little bit more of a climb until he reached her. He finally pulled himself up on the same thick, sturdy branch as she started talking about Kappas. "What the hell are Kappa- He cut off as he looked at her, blood soaked abdomen, and the blood stains in her hair. "what happened to you?! Are you okay? Do you need help? Does it hurt? How deep is the wound? How long has it been bleeding? How big is the cut? How are you feeling? Lightheaded?" The questions seemed to flow out continuously, hardly giving the blonde-black haired maiden enough time to answer before another one was asked.
Raijin crawled towards Rou, reaching out with his hand towards her wound, but stopping a few inches from her clothes, looking at her and waiting for a signal before he tried to examine and help his friend. "You better tell me what happened. And please don't use stupid nicknames you give people, I'll have no clue who the hell you're talking about" His voice was forceful, but the tone of concern was still lined within it. He wanted to help as much as he could, even though he knew it was futile to try to get this person, of all people, to actually make sense when talking.

| Rou made a face at the nickname Raijin had given her. It was clear she didn't like being called by other names despite her love for giving other people nicknames of their own. "I didn't know it was you! If you hadn't snuck up on me I would have caught you!" she retorted with a quiet "hmph" turning her nose up even further. It wasn't her fault he had scared her. And she wasn't about to offer her hand to the clawed one of a kappa. The stupid turtle man would have bitten her and drank what blood was still running through her veins. Was Raijin silly? Apparently so if he sounded so angry. His reaction got a face of its own. She pursed her lips, frowning at the same time as she rolled her eyes. He was being such a meanie. If he wasn't one of her allies he'd certainly get a mouthful. He would have gotten a fist too, but she really just wasn't feeling up to that at the time. Then she blinked a few time. He didn't know what a kappa was? Honestly did she have to explain everything to everybody? How could they call themselves heroes if they didn't even know all the dangerous monsters out there? That was why she was the best. She knew them all. Rou had opened her mouth to explain what a kappa was but instead found herself cut off by a sudden barrage of questions that barely gave her time to think between each one. She looked at Raijin and knitted her brows together, her eyes clearly showing how lost she had gotten. She put on a pout for a moment before covering her ears with her sleeve concealed ears and kicking her legs. "Stop asking questions!!" she barked, tired of trying to follow along. Luckily she caught his final statement, again starting to open her mouth to explain before she remembered the no nickname rule. That would be difficult. She hadn't gotten any real names. So she had to use all she knew she reasoned, shrugging her slender shoulders. Raijin would just have to hear her to the end. "I was just out rounding people up like we were supposed to, and I came across The Florist..." she paused, leaning closer to Raijin's ear. "He's a shinigami" she whispered as if to give further meaning to the man before she continued. "I tried to get him to come along quietly like a good bad guy, but no! He just had to put up a fight. And there were these huge swords that came out of the ground and then they all burst into pretty flower petals! But they weren't really flower petals... They were little tiny pink blades. It didn't matter though cause I was totally about to take him" Rou gave a firm, cocky nod, leaning back against the truck again. "But from nowhere Captain Crimson....another shinigami with this crazy red hair. You had to see it!...Anyway he came along with his big bony snake and it bit me!" she pointed to the wound in her stomach, indicating it was the wound from the bite. "I fought my way outta there and then decided I had to retreat so I could make an epic Heroes Return against the Arch Enemy! Isn't that perfect?!" She had gone from pouting a moment before to now smiling brightly as she described her little altercation with the shinigami from before. In fact she was beaming, expecting Raijin to be impressed. Who wouldn't be? She was following the Hero's Path at this point. "I'll be in tip top shape in no time so don't you worry, alright Seaweed Head?" she smiled cutely, tilting her head to the side. "Though it does kinda hurt a bit..." she said quietly, hoping it would go unnoticed as she turned her head to hide her face. Rou slouched forward, looking elsewhere and pretending as if it was just the wind making noise. She didn't want to admit to being hurt like that. The hero was never that hurt if they were still conscious. | |

| Raijin started to get annoyed with Rou when he stopped asking questions, the only thing keeping him there was to uphold a gentleman status, and the concern he had for this girl. Of course, the faces, way she acted, and faces she used made it extremely hard sometimes. Especially when she starts throwing a tantrum, or screaming.
This girl was such a pain, but she knew how to tell a story. Raijin followed along with the girl, nodding and feeling like he was actually there with him. It happened to him whenever he talked to this friend, or at least whenever she tried to explain something and acted like a little kid who was pretending to be Super Man. Either way, it was entertaining to listen to her tell her tale of 'The Flouriest and Captain Crimson'. "Alright..so you were attacked by two Shinigami, who I'm going to assume were both Captain-level due to having bankai" He started mumbling to himself as Rou talked about how she was going to return stronger and beat all the bad guys. Obviously, he wasn't paying attention as he looked past Rou, staring off into the distance.
He snapped out of it as soon as he heard his nickname. He sighed, then noticed the quiet comment, and then how she seemed to be embarrassed of the wound hurting. "Of course you will, you are a hero after all" He said, offering her a slight smile as his softer side showed, and pretending he didn't hear her talk about how much it hurts.
His smile disappeared a moment later, as he looked at her wound again. "Especially since you have me to help you heal, so you can go beat up the...." He paused for a moment, trying to think of the stupid nicknames she gave the two shinigami. "The Flouriest, and..Captain Red?" He said questionably. He didn't care either way, as he ripped Rou's clothes in the area around the wound, moving closer to look at it, touching the area around it gingerly while looking for reactions, hoping to guess just how much it really hurt.

| "Yeah one was definitely a captain. He had that fancy coat and everything. The Florist didn't have a uniform though... it was weird" she mummbed, crossing her arms as she though on it for a moment. That was short lived though. Her face was filled by a large smile when Raijin recognized her for the hero she was. She uncrossed her arms and began to clap happily as she giggled. "Thats right Seaweed Head! I'm the best hero of them all! Ah!...but you're a good hero too! Me and you can take care of Princess Daxie and all the others! Like...the number one ally that fights all the way to the end!" she lurched forward, now on her hands and knees once more. It was all coming together in her head. "Doesn't that sound fun?! Our names would be known everywhere!"She stood up on her knees, clapping again. "Yeah we'll take down The Florist and Captain R-..." she stopped, freezing up all of a sudden. that wasn't right. She made a face, staring at the tree beside him. "Its Captain Crimson, Seaweed head" she titled her head for a moment before looking down at him. "You have to at least know the names of our foes if this is going to work" She flopped back, plopping down on her rear with her legs crossed, giving him a look that told him she was waiting for him to say it right. Rou didn't stop him frim ripping her jacket around the wound, it was already ruined anyway. All the while she kept her expecting face, green eyes narrowed as she waited. though every now and then they would twitch, a small whine sounding from the back of her throat. "Stop poking it" she whined, dropping her arms to her side and slouching forward. She looked up through her long, wild bangs, a clear pout on her face. Her head fell in a sulking way as she leaned away from his touch. "It hurtssssss" she complained, slapping at his arm lightly as if to make it go away. She wasn't in battle so she didn't need to endure through unbearable pain without a complaint. She was with another trusted warrior. She was his superior in a way but she hardly cared then. He was being a butt and hurting her. | |

| He nodded in response the girl confirming his suspicions. He smiled at how happy his comment made her. She was just like a child, getting overly excited and being unable to control herself. But, Raijin didn't mind for right now, he liked to see people he knew and cared for happy. "You sure are, and we sure can. Sounds plenty fun" he said, playing along with the girl as he started to examine the wound, looking at the girl every few moments.
"Of course, sorry, Captain Crimson. Won't happen again, Thunder Thighs" He said, looking at her again with a sarcastic expression, obviously not caring too much about the nicknames she gives their 'Arch Enemies'. Of course he would probably mess it up, even on purpose to get even for being called Seaweed head. Oh well, at least she wasn't hitting him, and actually complying with him. Besides, he wouldn't mind it so much. It means he has someone to count on in case there ever does need to be an upsurge in the Espada. He wouldn't mind a better number, anyways. And Rou was a great asset to have. Especially if he needs a burst of energy.
Raijin was surprised his female friend actually sat still for once. And willingly at that, letting him at least examine the wound without her kicking or moving around that much. At least, until he started to poke it. He looked up at her in time to see that pout of hers, the same pout she gives whenever she's injured or something just doesn't go her way. He straightened up for a moment, arching has back as he looked at Rou. "It doesn't look too bad. Luckily the bleeding has stopped, and the wound is starting to heal. And sorry, I had to make sure there wasn't anything broken." He said, running his left hand through his hair, scratching. "Now, cooperate and don't move for a moment. It's going to tingle."
Raijin took off the glove on his right hand, as he place his palm right above the wound on Rou's stomach. He created a current between the two, transfusing some of his energy with Rou's. The energy transferring between the two would tingle around the contact area. This over flow of energy in the area caused some of it to spill out, causing the wound to repair at a faster rate, while restoring some of Rou's own energy, and depleting some of Raijin's. It's been awhile since Raijin has had any of Rou's energy, as he forgot how unique and good it 'tasted'.

| Rou again made a face when Raijin used that nickname he had made up for her. It sounded terrible, not cute at all. She wasn't sure just what it referred too, much to caught up in monsters to pay attention to sayings that popped up in the world. Either way thighs were generally nothing good. She pictured those flabby thighs of the giant Daitya Holita as they were burned to a crisp by the fire of her forgetful brother. Yes thighs were nothing good and she did not like being referred to in a way that referenced them. And her face told it all, giving a warning before a time when she'd use her small fists to beat the nicknames right out of Raijin's mouth. But it wasn't the time. Heroes always gave time for people to correct their ways. Even still she couldn't stay quiet, murmuring a near silent "Meanie....""I could have told you how bad it was" She argued, not finding his excuse justified. He had gone prodding around her wound like some annoying Imp which was rather painful. It even left a dull ache in her gut. It wasn't fair at all. So to punish him, Rou began to squirm when he told her to stay still again. She inched away from his hand when it came her way but it clearly wasn't from fear of having that pain again. Her smile was too big for it to be that. Though she caught on to what was going on, remembering something about Raijin's powers, and he had seemed to want to help. Also she didn't want him getting upset and yelling at her. That would have simply ruined her day. So after no more than a minute of her little game she finally stopped moving, laying against the tree trunk and relaxing. When his hand finally made contact, she jerked a little, surprised by the tingle despite how she had been warned of it. After the intial surprise though she found herself relaxing again, maybe even more relaxed then before. She could feel the wound closing up along with her energy being restored. "So good, Seaweed Head" she sighed out, tilting her head back as her eyes fell shut. Even the tingling feeling had become pleasant in its own way. The espada had become uncharacteristically quiet, not making a sound other than long soft breaths. She wasn't moving about either, just the rise and fall of her chest and the occasional shift of her arms across her lap. It seemed as though she had fallen asleep. That couldn't last forever. Her eyes slowly opened and she looked up through the leaves at the sky. Her feet started to flick, then her legs began to bounce at her knees. Her fingers tapped against the bark and her head was swaying from side to side, scraping her hair over the dirty bark, knotting it together and dirtying it. "Thats enough already" she finally whined, unable to take it anymore. This wasn't her cup of tea. Let's go do something fun!" Rou begged, her head falling down so she could look up at him with big, sparkling green eyes that looked absolutely pitiful. "Let's play a game alright?" she suggested in a small, weak sounding, childish voice, her lips pursed in a frown. | |
