Blood and Burning

Once again, Pyro sat by itself, with its faithful rubber ducky cradled like its firstborn son in its hands. It was a stark contrast – the bleak, monochrome colours of Las Noches – nay, Hueco Mundo in general – contrasting with the stark colour of a bath toy. A lone squeak echoed through the perpetual silence, punctuated by its owner’s muffled giggle, a minute display of childish amusement. It would be a strange sight to see – an Arrancar, obviously a rogue, just leaning casually against the walls of Las Noches while sitting with its legs crossed. Yet, no Hollows emerged to dispose of the pest, or at the very least, drive it away.

One seemed to pass by it, but carried on quickly instead of having the being leave. There could be no mistaking who it was – this was Pyro, leaning against the wall, not a typical Arrancar. While it was not the most powerful, its presence was one that unsettled most around it. Its mask, its muffled voice, its generally childlike demeanour – it all contributed to it being the kind of entity one would cross the street to avoid. And possibly erect a brick wall against just to be safe.

Pyro looked up towards the dead sky, and upon the barren land. It seemed to remind it of the state it had left many of the areas it had been sent to decimate, the immediate aftermath an area of blazing wreckage, and once the fire had had died down, it resembled that which lay before it now Except the grey was ash, usually. The corpses tended to have blacker ash.

Saber, since coming to Las Noches had not had many encounters with other Arrancar. It seemed as if everyone else was busy and she was one of the only ones who had nothing to do. So she decided to leave and travel along the walls of Las Noches, since she had nothing better to do. Saber was quite a prim and proper individual, maybe more proper than most. She had manners and loyalty to a fault. Ever since she had finally come back to her senses she had finally returned to her normal self and she wasn't sure how she felt about this. For hundreds of years since her death she had caused nothing but destruction to her foes. Eating them until the point she even gorged herself sometimes on their power. It took many years and it wasn't until her Vasto Lorde evolution that she finally found the power to become an Arrancar.

Soon after she became an Arrancar she looked for Las Noches, and was soon taken as a Fraccion underneath one of the many more powerful Espada's. Now she trailed along the edges of Las Noches until she came to a very odd sight. She presumed it was an Arrancar from its human like appearance but she couldn't be exactly sure. Then it could of also been an Vasto Lorde type hollow, but those were so rare and far in between that it was more likely a Arrancar than it was a Vasto Lorde class hollow. Approaching it slowly, her hand posed on top of her sword she spoke out to it. "Hello being. Why are you sitting along the walls of Las Noches? Do you have business here?" She asked with a very prim and proper voice. Still acting like a person of her time, but still being cautious none the less.

In its typical manner, Pyro looked - presumably - innocently towards Saber, an awkward moment of silence in between it cocking its head at the arrival of a new face, and a single squeak of its treasured toy. Pyro nodded, not in any particularly notable way – it just nodded a few times. A simple response, typical of the mumbling pyromaniac, though it was lacking a muffled “Uh-huh.” One that would likely sound odd to those who did not know it, and slightly irritating to those who did.

Due to the one-piece encompassing its entire body, the hole in its chest that a Hollow – or Arrancar – would have, was not visible. Neither was its number, but given that so few actually associated with it, this made little difference to its day-to-day life. Pyro seemed intrigued by this new arrival, but then again, this was how it was with everyone it had not seen before. It sensed an aura being emanated from her, and it was not just her spiritual pressure. A vast, powerful one, something it seemed drawn to as it looked towards her.

Not that you’d be able to tell that much, with the mask on. To anyone else, it would appear that Pyro had just cocked its head, squeaked its duck, and nodded. A performance that would make it seem simple and ultimately not worthy of being within the presence of Las Noches, but ask around the fortress, and the reactions to its name would usually contain a shudder.

A squeak suddenly came out and at first she thought it was from the Arrancar then she suddenly noticed that it was holding a rubber ducky, a confused look arouse on her face when she wasn't sure how to react. To even start describing the being seemed a little confusing and she wasn't even sure how to react to it. She was so new to Las Noches that was far from meeting everyone or even knowing about such creatures as the one who was before her. Taking her hand off the sword it hung limply at her side. The creature was so simple she wasn't sure if talking to it was futile or not, or perhaps it had more words to say then what it had already said.

Doubtful that it knew who she was, she was the Arrancar of blood. Her abilities based around blood and she could be quite sadistic when she felt like it. Sometimes she would draw her own blood if there was no ones else to draw. Now that this simple being was before her she gave it a thought, but then again she wasn't sure she wanted to kill a creature so simple. So once again she tried to reason with it. "Are you an Arrancar?" If this being was an Arrancar she wondered when it took its mask off. She had heard since entering that any hollow could technically take its mask off, and the sooner it took its mask off the more primitive and hollow like it was. Even if this Arrancar had a human body maybe its mind still wasn't developed, or maybe that was why it wasn't in Las Noches and was hanging along the walls of it.

It wasn't strong smart enough to be a Espada or a Fraccion, so here it was, a simple minded rogue Arrancar, that would stay rogue until it was smart enough to fit along their ranks. Still she wasn't sure so she could only stand there and stare quizzically at the Arrancar until it answered her question.

This time, a muffled response was delivered, along with a nod. As if it could sense that she thought of him as simple, it took its axe from its back, and displayed it for her to see. In reality, it was just a reaction that had been drilled into its head over the years, knowing that it would initially come off as simple and incapable of thought beyond instinctive Hollow reactions. The way it was gripped was rudimentary, but given how it was wielded, and given the fear that its user instilled beforehand in those who knew its capabilities, actual use of the weaponry was seldom called for against weaker opponents.

However, the being was interrupted by a small blast directed near it, but it was a blatant warning shot. It landed close – enough to risk grazing it, but not quite enough to inflict even a minor injury. The Arrancar that had fired remained a safe distance away, his voice amplified. Though not noticeable it his current distance, he was actually shaking a little. He was a weaker fighter than the one he was warning – and this made him susceptible to quite the painful death.

Fortunately for him, Pyro was understanding of the situation, and did not unleash hellfire and fury on its fellow Arrancar. However, given how it turned to him, one would likely not be surprised if it had wrath burning in its eyes. Still, this was an odd occurrence – normally, fights would be allowed to go ahead, with little punishment for maiming. Gathering so many powerful beings in one place, fights were bound to break out. However, for Pyro to be stopped the moment it had drawn its weapon – there was something up with it.

Saber cocked her head to the side as she watched the Arrancar nod and muffle some sort of sound which she assumed could only be an acknowledgement to her question that he was in fact an Arrancar. Then he pulled the axe off its back and showed it to her, rolling her eyes at the almost simple minded gesture that the Arrancar was showing. Then suddenly a blast was shot toward the Arrancar across from her as she instinctively drew her sword and pointed it at the new foe. Turning from the Arrancar she had tried to talk to, to the new Arrancar that had fired the warning shot. A strong desire to fight in her eyes and to shed blood on the battle field. To rip off the new foes head and drink the blood that would seep from its neck. She instinctively licked her lips at the thought. "Arrancar. Stand down, or you will be brought down. I will rip off your head and gladly bathe in your blood." She said with a shiver of joy at the pure thought of it all.

Although it was a prelude to the fight that was going to happen she couldn't help but run her sword lightly over some of the bare flesh of her armor. As her blood started to drip slowly out of her wrist and to the ground below. Not being able to help herself as she two took fingers on her other hand and dabbed at the cut. Putting the blood to her lips as she took a lick from her finger tips. Enjoying it all together as she rubbed it all over her lips, letting her tongue slide across her lips as she kept starting down the Arrancar. The blood drip dropping to the ground, ready to slice the other arm and release her zanpaktou. Over killing the other Arrancar would be her pleasure, and once her opponent was blown apart she would gladly sip and play with the blood left from the killing.

"Miss, I'm warning you for your own good. Step away from the Arrancar in the mask. It is highly dangerous - and must be contained."
While it may have appeared simple, Pyro knew that its simple gesture had been misinterpreted as a threat. It gripped its axe, prepared to lop off the head of the lower-power enemy who, quite understandably remained a safe distance from it. the Arrancar, in all honesty, did not look like much, merely someone appointed to keep things in order. The monkey to the organ grinder, essentially. "Don't you feel it? Its presence... That foul, malevolent presence, just waiting to incinerate you on the spot. This Arrancar has burnt countless hundreds to death, and has giggled at their screams. Please, step away so it can be contained."

However, Pyro knew better. If not for the mask, the look through the lenses could be mistaken for childish expectancy. It'd had its fill of fighting for a while, and now that someone new had turned up, it wanted something to watch. Almost as if it was inviting Saber to slaughter the Arrancar walking tentatively towards the pair, it stepped back, behind her, seemingly awaiting the ensuing battle. Evidently, it still needed entertainment.

Saber heard what the Arrancar had to say but she chose to ignore it. Until the Arrancar she was trying to talk to became an actual threat then she would not act upon him. The Arrancar who was blindly attacking them for no other reason than he was 'dangerous' but she had yet to see it so she decided he was not a threat, yet. Then the Arrancar still kept talking to him, asking her about its presence and how it felt to her. How it felt as if it had killed hundreds of beings. Although she wasn't convinced, "I have also killed hundreds of beings, and gladly nibbled at their flesh and drank their blood. Maybe were two of a kind, maybe we were supposed to meet one another." She grinned as she made two fingers with her right hand, aiming at the enemy Arrancar with a gun like hand, as she whispered out, "Bala..." She fired one shot, and two more in quick succession aimed at the Arrancar. Now she was firing off shots, not only as warnings but also on an intent to harm her opponent. If he took it any further she would activate her release, and she would over-kill him gladly.

Pyro, though it had a childish demeanour at times, could still grow annoyed at people. This one was obviously a greenhorn - he didn't know to deliver the warning after Pyro had departed, as opposed to while it was there. Without warning, the muffled maniac cleaved the head off of the offending Arrancar, going on what seemed to be a muffled rant about how it was discriminated against just because of the mask, and how nobody cared who it was until it put it on. Then again, it could be anything being mumbled - the mask made all words incoherent, the only things being able to be truly discerned being syllables.

Pyro turned on its heel, seeming to only just remember Saber was there. Seeming to still be in a tantrum-like state, it put its hands out, axe clutched in one. Pyro was, it seemed, extremely irritable like this - poke it, and it would likely chop your arm off. One could interpret this gesture as something akin to a challenge, though it was probably just irritated at the discrimination it received.

Saber watched the Arrancar she had been defending suddenly cleave off the head of the offending Arrancar. She was rather speechless at the occurrence but there was nothing she could do about it now. It seemed t hat the Arrancar was really able to defend itself, and this was clear because of how easily the Arrancar had killed the other Arrancar who just wanted to start a fight. Now that she saw that the Arrancar could defend itself she decided that she no longer needed to talk to it or watch over it, since it seemed that the thing was sentient enough to at least decide for itself and then to take action to kill the Arrancar to defend itself. Oh well, she figured she was no longer needed here and started to walk away from it, soon using Sonido to further herself form the Arrancar she had briefly talked to as she disappeared back into the depths of Las Noches.

(No muse for this rp, I don't want to tie up this character like everyone else on here likes to do. Tie up people's character's for days on end.
