The Calm streets Of Magnolia Town, peaceful and serene. the animals scurry away knowing in due time this will become the battle ground of two dragon slayers. The wind whips vigorously the earth quakes for this upcoming battle...soon their powers shall lay waste to the very land they stand on!

As the sun was beginning to set, a lone figure could be seen walking the streets. It was a male with an average build and red hair, with the occasional white streak. Long shadows, cast by buildings, occasionally obscured him from view, but it was clear to anyone who knew of him, that this was Katsuo Kagayaki of Fairy Tail. It was so silent in Magnolia Town that Katsuo’s footsteps almost seemed to echo. He thought it was odd that it would be so silent right in the middle of town, even at this hour, but didn’t pay much attention to it. A few moments later, he arrived in the main square of Magnolia. Now he could really sense that something was off. He stopped and looked around, as if to check if anyone was around.

Standing on top of one of Magnolia's building's he catches glimpse of a new arrival. he knew who it was by the reputation this town seems to gossip. Meori was well known for being part of the dark guild Reborn, he leaped from the room and onto the ground. Due to the town being so quiet his feet against the pavement makes a echo that seemed linger. "well well well. if it isnt the town's beloved fairy tail member" with that he would cross his hands having his white locks blow in the gentle breeze with his hands deep in his white coat and the fur of around the neck brush against his skin.

Upon hearing the sound of something hitting the pavement, Katsuo looked over in the direction of the noise with a seemingly passive expression. At first, he had no idea who the newcomer was. Then he got a good look at him and realized who he was; the cynical manner that Meori spoke in tipped Katsuo off as well.

"You're from Oracion Seis. What are you doing here?" he asked, turning fully towards Meori as a slight breeze ruffled his spiky locks. He knew that it was trouble if someone from a dark guild was here; one of the most powerful ones at that. If this Meori guy had any intention of doing something to cause trouble, Katsuo would have no choice but to take him out.

"can i not take a walk and visit these lands." his face crooked a slight grin while walking the streets of Magnolia he had his gaze to the ground, his true intentions was quite the opposite, but he kept that little secret to himself. He then turned on his heel to face the male with a look void of emotion within his grayish-brown irises, wanting to end this little talk between them he threw his head back to gaze at the sky above him. the flow of magic began to outline his body in a yellow glow, speaking now in a calm whisper before turning his gaze back to the male. " I guess i could blow off sometime on light weight."

"Sorry, but I just can't believe that you'd come here for a walk."Katsuo replied with an annoyed edge to his voice. Something about Meori was off-setting to Katsuo, and the fact that he was in Oracion Seis also made it so that he could not turn a blind eye to his presence in Magnolia.

"Light weight...?" Katsuo growled, as Meori was starting to piss him off. "We'll see who the light weight here is." he finished. After he finished speaking, both of Katsuo's hands started to emit a brilliant yellow aura, which tapered off into a black, smoke-like substance before vanishing into thin air as it got farther from his hands. Then Katsuo pushed off the ground with uncanny strength, rushing at Meori with an upraised right arm and attempting to punch him in the face once he got close.

Meori watched as Katsuo rushed to him, he would react by a quick side step to the father right followed by leaping back a few feet with a light chuckle of his lips to his response to Meori's words. " yes light weight. I hope i didn't strike a nerve " with that he would bald his fists causing lightning to emit from his hands in a yellow static glow, crouching slightly he thrust off his right foot in a dash towards Katsuo, raising his right hand he would send it towards Katsuo's face followed behind his right fist comes his left. if they connected he would be sent with th same force of his fist to the building behind him.

Katsuo narrowed his eyes as Meori spoke again. This guys like to talk... he thought, before ducking down, under both of his punches, just barely moving in time. Now that he was crouched down with both of Meori's arms striking the empty air above him, Katsuo had him right where he wanted him. With a rather evil-looking grin, he jumped up suddenly, aiming to bowl Meori over with a full-force body check. If Katsuo succeed in tackling him, he would then trap him against the ground with a knee pressed into his chest and repeatedly punch him in the face, the magic power that was around his hands dissipating.

Katsuo seemed to be treating the whole ordeal like an everyday fistfight, even though he was up against an Oracion Seis member. It was because he still did not think that Meori was being serious, so he wouldn't either. He was fine to just let him off with a good thrashing if he wasn't going to take it seriously.

being tackled to the ground he would take a hit to the face before holding his arms over his face he would grin lightly despite the knee in his chest he would remain with the grin crooked over his face thinking for a moment that soon followed by his lips parting speaking softly "Shield of the Lightning dragon" despite the shielding his face he c clap of his hands that generates lightning that outspreads in a 30 foot radius repelling anyone with great force besides himself. If the Male did not move in time he would be sent away in a electrifying thrust from the shield.

Katsuo was about to punch Meori again when he heard him saying the name of what he could only assume was a spell of some sort. Dragon? He thought, momentarily shocked before he was struck by the shield and sent flying a good distance backwards, getting caught off guard rather easily. While his physical skills were nearly unrivalled and his magic was fearsome, his weakness was that he was easily tricked and caught off guard. His flight through the air carried him straight into a building. Katsuo's body hit the wall of said building at a fair momentum, causing the wall to crack almost to the point of breaking completely before he fell back down to the ground. "You..." After a few moments, Katsuo got to his feet and stared right through the shield at Meori with a disbelieving expression.

"You're a dragon slayer?!" He asked abruptly, with a more angry expression crossing his face.

standing to his feet the shield remaining up for a moment before dispersing into nothing, hearing the words spoken from Katsuo he would tilt his head to the right with a look of dumbfound on his face. "oh..did i leave out that bit of information..dear me I guess i forgot." with that he looked Katsuo's expression and found a tickle of joy within his gut.

taking a defensive stance he winked to Katsuo with a slight grin crooked on his face, taking a deep breath he exhaled softly. " well are we going to continue this little dance called battle. " he was eager to boil the anger of this male and make that his downfall.

Katsuo found that Meori's condescending attitude was getting increasingly annoying. But he knew that he couldn't let it get to him. If he lost, not only would he tarnish the reputation of his guild, but he would leave the town unprotected, since no one else knew that Meori was here... in fact, there could be even more members from Oracion Seis right in Magnolia.

Ignoring Meori's question, Katsuo let loose some of his magic power, causing a circle of golden and smoky black energy to surround him in the form of a circle that travelled across the ground. "I need to finish this up quick then." he said with conviction before taking a single step toward Meori. His energy flared up violently, as if he were about to launch some sort of large-scale attack.

Meori would grin taking a deep breath before exhaling causing his magic to spread and flare around his being. the magic he gives off causing the sky to darken he awaits whats to come next from the light weight known as Katsuo, with patience he would give a slight chuckle of his lips analyzing the male before him with a look of interest. [finally light weight decides to get serious] thinking to himself, soon his mind cleared itself of any uneeded thoughts.

Katsuo noticed the sky getting darker, but he didn't care. He wouldn't give Meori a chance to attack from the sky. Still glowing with magic power, Katsuo launched himself toward Meori again, trying to tackle him once again. But this time, he planned to use something much more devastating if he got he other dragon slayer this time.

Meori would wait for the male to get to a close enough distance before reacting. his eyes would gleam under his lightning magic before leaping upwards into the air, while airborne he would speak once more. "Roar of the lightning Dragon!" Meori would take a deep breath followed by an loud shout releasing a blast of swirling yellow full lightning from his mouth, pouring a moderate amount of magic into the attack him being above the male aims the attack towards him that if caught would send him thrashing into the pavement below.

Noticing that Meori was now above him, Katsuo had looked up with a frustrated expression. He had expected Meori to simply dodge. "Shit!" he exclaimed when he saw that Meori was about to release his breath attack. Not having many other options, Katsuo raised both hands up to the blast while still in mid-air. His hands were still coated with magic, so when the blast hit his arms, he wasn't thrown back immediately. However, he was getting steadily pushed back by the sheer force of it. When it looked like he would be overwhelmed, Katsuo stepped full-on into the lightning, taking the full extent of it before a shock wave of golden energy burst from his body, obliterating Meori's attack and possibly sending him flying. "Star Dragon Supernova..." Katsuo said before he drew in a large breath and jumped up higher, manipulating his own gravity to bring him right above Meori, whether he was sent flying by the shock wave or not.

"Roar of the Star Dragon!" As soon as he was above Meori, Katsuo opened his mouth wide and released a thick stream of blinding yellow light toward Meori nearly point-blank. If anyone stared at the blast directly, they would be temporarily blinded.

closing his eyes he would shield his self in a ball like form being sent hurling to the ground forming a crater under his being. he gave a light chuckle of amazement. he has not been in a fight like this in quite sometime and this brought back the burning excitement in his gut. forming his magic around his being he would speak softly before launching off the ground. "Perial Lightning dragon" his whole body becomes surged with lightning allowing him to move at a high speed, moving at a high speed upwards he would wait to reach a good enough distance to Katsuo

before speaking once again. "Lightning Dragon's Breakdown Fist" extending his clenched fist forward as if he were punching while generating his Magic Seal, from which a larger version of his fist composed of lighting is created and sent towards the opponent at high speed, generating a massive sparking explosion on contact. If struck by the attack his opponent would take the shock along with the follow up explosion.

Even though Katsuo had used full force in his attack, he wasn't able to take Meori down. Well it is another dragon slayer I'm going up against... this will be rough. Katsuo thought, waiting for Meori to get close again so that he could strike. He drew in another large breath as he saw the fist of lightning shooting towards him. Before it reached him, Katsuo let loose another stream of golden energy from his mouth. Since he used it right after his last roar, this one was considerably less powerful, but it did the trick. The two attacks collided and exploded in front of Katsuo, knocking him back a bit, but surrounding the two combatants in smoke. While Meori would likely be unable to see, Katsuo flew toward him, acting on pure instinct. Once close, he reached out to try and grab Meori's face and throw him back down to the ground.

"well this is one skilled slayer.." he spoke softly to himself through the smoke followed by using his sense of smell he reacted quickly the moment Katsuo reached for him he would side step to the right followed by a attempt to grab Katsuo by the back of his head. If he succeeds in grabbing the back of his head he would try and send Katsuo into the ground face first.

Before he could react to Meori grabbing his head, Katsuo was thrown towards the ground. Thinking quickly, he increased his own gravity, making himself lighter in weight before he hit the ground. The impact was nothing to him because he had been as light as a feather at that time, although his gravity reverted to normal a second later. He could only manipulate his own gravity, and not for extended periods of time.

Unfazed, he got back to his feet and glared up at Meori. "Well, is that all you got?" he called up, wondering why he mostly seemed to be on the defensive.

Meori would stand in the air for bit of time before gravity took hold he would remain there his white locks move vigorously in the rapid wind. he tilted his head to the right for a moment at Katsuo's comment before holding his hands forward he gives a light grin towards katsuo, holding his hands forward a magic seal forms in front of them. "Cannon of the Lightning Dragon" he then watched as static began to form creating a lightning thrusting both his fist forward he generates a large ball of lightning that while fired grows in size until it strikes its opponent upon striking it explodes on contact. Soon after firing the attack gravity took hold and he comes to the ground making a slightly loud thud when his feet met the pavement.

Katsuo didn't appear impressed in the slightest by the attack that Meori had just fired at him. The truth was, anyone who relied on magical blasts to fight was at a huge disadvantage against Katsuo. Since he could use the abilities of a dragon of space, he could also make magic attacks useless.

Katsuo's right hand now seemed to be giving off a murky black aura. Then he raised his hand and slashed downwards in a claw-like motion. "Void Claw of the Star Dragon." he said as he sent multiple blades of black energy which clashed with the ball of electricity. Oddly enough, they seemed to draw the magic from Meori's attack into themselves. Now, not a trace remained.

"Come down here and fight me for real. Or are you too afraid?" Katsuo said fiercely, boring into Meori with determined blue-green eyes.

Meori would tilt his head before speaking in alight tone of his voice. "Perial Lightning dragon" his whole body becomes surged with lightning allowing him to move at a high speed, dashing towards Katsuo, while rushing towards him he did not let his comments batter him. while approaching him he gave the impression that he was going for a full frontal attack, but before extending his right fist he would dash to the left turning on his left heel he would attempt to send his fist thashing into Katsuos left ribcage.

Seeing that Meori was finally attacking him head-on, Katsuo smirked. This was how he preferred to fight. When it appeared that Meori would attack him from the front, Katsuo quickly raised his hands to defend. Then Meori disappeared from his line of sight and Katsuo only had time to blink before he felt the impact of Meori's lightning-charged fist against his side. There was a small cracking sound as Katsuo landed a few feet away on his back, momentarily stunned by the lightning and possibly with a cracked rib.
