Personality: Caitlyn, as an individual, is a rather mean person. She doesn't care about your pity. She doesn't care about your problems. Hell, most of the time, she doesn't care about you. Really, the only thing that matters to Caitlyn is getting what she wants as soon as possible. This stems from a long history of mental abuse by her peers, but instead of breaking and caving to it, she got stronger, even demanding that they pay attention to her and love her at points. Once the word "love" is tossed around, she tends to get fearful, immersing herself in her music to forget about her inner sadness. Music is, and has always been her life, and without it, she would likely be a completely different person.

Caitlyn has piercing red eyes and long white hair, giving her very large puffy twintains. Her clothing consists of a long gothic dress with the shoulders removed, there being a intricate pattern of lace and spiderwebs down the from and over the dress. The bottom of her dress is fairly short and breezy, easily giving glimpses of her black underwear and garters in the right conditions. Her shoes are generally white steel-toed boots, her hating anything less than the bulk when it comes to footwear. Why does she wear this type of clothing? Easy! If you don't come to a Bubonic concert for the rocking music and partial deafness, you'll come for the cute girl wearing crazy clothing losing her mind on stage.

Bio: Caitlyn was apprenticed under a strong Bount for the longest time, much longer than the girl cares to remember. However, the thing that was different about this man was that Caitlyn was madly in love with him. He always rejected her advances, however, claiming that she was one of the few fertile Bounts in existence, and she needed to protect that. Fortunately for her late Master, that was one of the few lessons that actually stuck with her over the years. Caitlyn was quite uncaring with her Master's lessons, caring only about her guitar and playing it.

Regardless, she still showed promise in her abilities, showing that she had heard him to some degree. It was then when her Master decided to give her a doll. Through the ritual was the metallic La Croix born, making Caitlyn happier than her Master had ever seen her. La Croix was promptly dressed by Caitlyn in clothing of her choosing, when her Master sealed La Croix into the form of a bass guitar. Caitlyn complained when it was a bass guitar, claiming to not play bass. Her Master never quite answered that before he passed, a victim of a Shinigami's attack on the Bounts.

Luckily for the Shinigami, Caitlyn didn't gain an eternal hatred for them for killing her Master. She didn't really care, and figured he did something to piss them off. That, and since he didn't requite her love for him, it kinda pushed her into not caring about him. With La Croix, they decided to form a band to occupy her time. They named the band "Bubonic" after his plague doctor-esque mask and they never looked back.

The pair would not be sated with just band fame, however. As famous as Bubonic was getting in the rock community, Caitlyn still felt like more could be made doing something else. She began to drink the nectar of life known as human souls, and gradually became addicted to the taste. The rush of power is gave her made her feel invincible, much better than devouring a dead soul. It was then that she began killing people at her concerts, having La Croix give out singular VIP passes to backstage, where she would kill them and devour their souls. A favored way to do this would be very stereotypical of the Bounts of legend. She loved biting into their necks and "drinking their blood", as it was closer and more intimate. This behavior, although it raised questions, did not harm the band's reputation. In fact, darker rock fans somewhat praised the fact that people just might be dying when they go backstage with her.


Doll


Seal: A black bass guitar with an intricate, wave-like pattern over the body and head of it. The strings are light blue and the fret board has yin-yangs going down the length. It's also slightly larger than a standard size bass guitar by a whole foot of length to the fret board.

Name: La Croix

La Croix is perfectly masked behind an old black plague doctor's mask, only it's made of metal and giving his eyes an eerie red glow. He wears a wide-rimmed black hat to conceal what his black trench coat does not of his head. His trench coat reaches to his ankles and pops up in the collar area. underneath his trench coat, he wears a full red vest and red slacks. Finishing off his look with black dress shoes, there isn't a stripe of bare flesh visibly on the man. However, what most don't know is that La Croix is entirely metallic underneath his clothing, his body being difficult to harm.

Personality: La Croix is a rather gentlemanly type, speaking in a British accent and generally acting like an upper-crust individual. In fact, with how Caitlyn acts, he often scolds her like one would a child, acting like a father to the girl. When it comes to others, he acts somewhat uppity, and tends to not give a damn about others, but in a different way than Caitlyn. Rather than push people away to not deal with it, he'll draw you in and make sure that you know that your problems and quirks are not worth one fuck to him. The only person that matters to him is Caitlyn and whoever Caitlyn helps, which is rare in and of itself.

Ability: La Croix's ability, put plainly, is sound. Through his and Caitlyn's guitars, he manipulates soundwaves to attack and debilitate enemies. With different types of music and solos come different types of attacks. The guitars themselves are made of super-condensed reishi, so condensed that they are incredibly difficult to damage. As they play, it has a distinct undertone, one that is very relaxing and hypnotic.

Techniques: Lead Solo - La Croix plays background as Caitlyn steps forward, ripping a high-pitched solo with impossibly quick notes. This is an attack on the opponent's ears, making them go deaf and dizzy for a short while. (+2 posts)

Bass Solo - Caitlyn steps down and stops playing, giving La Croix the center stage. His playing hits like a brick wall, physically forming waves of sound that slam into opponents. However, due to his slower playing, it doesn't hit as often as it could.

Main Riff - With a slow melody of dark tones and harsh power chords, Caitlyn forms a small shield that pushes small attacks away from her. It doesn't work on anything on the Kidou list than a Sokatsui, or anything Hollow in power.

Power Chord - Caitlyn drops to her knees and slams into a chord, letting it ring out and slam into the incoming attack, most likely deflecting it unless it's too powerful. In that case, it only greatly reduces damage taken.

Whammy - When Caitlyn feels that she can't handle the incoming attacks, she strikes the chord while warbling the sound with the whammy bar. This disperses reiatsu projectile attacks. Unlike the Main Riff, it will work on any reiatsu projectiles, but does nothing against sword slashes.

Lead / Bass Duo - When they play together, it forms a combination of the Main Riff and the Bass Solo techniques, giving Caitlyn's blocking power with La Croix's powerful slams of sound. This is a fairly devastating technique that is essentially a circular reflector shield.

Doll Ability: You cannot have the playing be a definite finisher, especially not for a relatively high rank like ADP-2. I'd say MDR-3 and lower is the only thing I would accept.
